Bought these to hang lights from my 1 1/4” balcony railing. They were easy to attach, none broke during application process. The LED light strand cords slide in easily. From some reviews I read, people had problems in these areas, probably due to railing over 1 1/2” thick and lights that have thicker cords. They work perfectly for my needs, happy with my purchase.

I used these successfully to clip my Christmas lights to my apartment deck's wood handrail. They were the perfect width and clipped on without much issue; my only complaint is the side clip for the lights is sooooo stiff. It took a good amount of work to slide the actual light wire into the clip....but atleast they are going nowhere!
