If you find this review linked to a different product, please disregard the review and check other reviews carefully. I was pretty dubious about how easy to use, and how effective, this single curtain panel could be. I couldn't have been more wrong; turns out I'm going to need to buy a second one because I can't make up my mind where I most need the first one. The fabric is super heavy and thick, so not a wisp of light comes through. Installing it is as simple as putting velcro on the wall and then attaching the curtain to it. You can get fancier with it, but that's all that's necessary. Our TV room has a doorless entryway, and we were getting tired of light from the rest of the house glaring into the darkened room. I put this up before we started a movie a few nights ago, and the difference was immediately noticeable - the room was pitch black! It may seem a little pricy, but wow is it worth it for the simplicity and effectiveness.

This window cover works well as a blackout panel, seems to be 100% blackout. It lays nice and flat over the window and I'm not getting any leaks around the corners, a good fit that looks nice and neat with a clean line. The velcro strips are easy to install and work well for taking the panel on and off as you can't slide it to the side of the window. I wouldn't like to leave this panel hanging up though as it doesn't really look, feel, or act like a curtain, I'd call it a window cover. The fabric sort of reminds me of a thicker plastic tablecloth that has a woven linen look. But again, it looks good up as a flat light blocker and it does its job, but when the light blocking isn't needed, the panel comes down. If you control that expectation it's a good choice, the other choice being to use a curtain rod with a fluid drapey curtain you can slide to the side.

This total black out curtain is very easy to install. It comes with very clear instructions, but even without the instructions, it's easy to understand how to set it up. There is velcro on the back side of the curtain. There are velcro strips that stick to the window frame. To set up the curtain, you just stick the two pieces of velcro together. Couldn't be easier. I put this up in my bedroom to totally block light at night when I'm sleeping and it works perfectly. No light gets through, not even around the edges of the curtain. I don't love having the velcro strips showing on the window frame during the day when I pull the curtain back to let light in, but I'm not sure how to get around that. This curtain also comes with tie to hold the curtain in place once you pull it back. Plus, it has screws in case the velcro strips won't stick to your wall, you can use the screws to hold the velcro strip in place so you can still attach the curtain. Overall, a good value for the money.

My work hours get flipped around a few times each year and I recently got moved to working overnight. I have tremendous difficulty falling asleep when I get home at 7am because it's so bright and finally pulled the trigger on a blackout curtain. Overall, I'm pleased with the curtain. It comes with velcro strips with adhesive on the back (kind of like a roll of tape) that you stick to your wall. The curtain has velcro on the edges that you basically stick to the wall. It does a good job of blocking out all the light but there's no good way to get the curtain out of the way when you don't want to use it short of removing the whole thing from the wall. This curtain was a great value and I recommend it for anyone who needs to sleep during the day.

I’m incredibly impressed with this self-adhesive blackout curtain! Installation was unbelievably easy. They included a strip of Velcro that I attached to my wall, and the curtain simply sticks right onto it—no tools, no hassle. It stays in place beautifully and does an amazing job blocking out every bit of light, making the room instantly darker and more comfortable. I also love that they included a rope tie so I can easily pull the curtain back during the day to let the sunlight in. It’s such a thoughtful touch and makes the curtain super versatile. If you want a blackout option that’s effortless, effective, and renter-friendly, this is absolutely the one!

We live in Florida, our house gets very bright in the evening. If we want to watch a movie before sunset or someone isn't feeling well, blackout curtains are always a major help but I've never tried a proper panel that can attach on like this. This is what I discovered during my testing: ✅Pros: - Easy to fold out, put up, and fold back down into storage - Works really well in the Florida evening sun - I couldn't see any light penetrating through the fabric - It helps block out some of the heat coming through - Adhesive sticks well to somewhat textured framing ❎Cons: - Adhesive test resulted in a little paint coming off but it wasn't too bad. 💭Final Thoughts: It works like a charm with real world testing but the adhesive could improve.

I got this to replace a 10-year-old plastic roller shade that was starting to crack and looked terrible. PROS: *Really easy to install. No tools required. *Does a great job of blocking light and providing privacy. *Everything you need is included. *Clear directions. *Strong adhesive on the Velcro strip. *Seems very well made. *The tweed fabric is attractive. CONS: *I can't think of any. I did use some scissors to trim the Velcro strip to fit my window. Nothing else needed besides that.

Make sure you measure the windows because I accidentally ordered the wrong size. But aside from that it seems well-made and definitely seems like it will block out the sun and is super easy to install.
