Flavor: Lime Slices
This is an okay replacement for fresh limes. They take a while to rehydrate, and they slowly infuse the liquid they’re in while they do it. In clear drinking water, they turned the water brown, as the limes themselves were quite brown (likely from the dehydration process). The water had a light lime flavor to it. We removed the seeds first. I used a finger but ended up losing some of the lime in getting the seeds out so I recommend using a toothpick to gently pop out just the seeds. In a mixed drink, I rehydrated two lime slices in gin before adding tonic. The flavor is a lot lighter than a fresh lime, but if you can’t get real limes then these would work. While I prefer a fresh lime (and who wouldn’t?) every time we buy some they end up going bad before we use them. These won’t do that!

Flavor: Grapefruit Slices
I got the dried grapefruit slices, but not for food or drinks. I'm using these for a DIY project, and they're just what I was expecting. They smell nice and the color is about the same as in the photos. None of them arrived broken or torn or with other apparent defects.

These are nice grapefruit slices. I can make drinks with them by adding hot water or infuse it in beverages overnight. They give off a nice grapefruit fragrance.

Flavor: Lime Slices
These dried lime slices are large, thin, unbroken pieces. They come in a 3 ounce, resealable bag. The rinds are a nice, bright green. There are some seeds in them, but they just sink to the bottom of the cocktail if they come off. They make a nice garnish for my Gin and Tonic. They add a little flavor and visual appeal. I think they are a good value because you get quite a few for the price.

The Selected Dried Lime Slices 3 Oz/85g,100% Natural Dehydrated Limes Lemon Slices for Cake Decoration & Cocktail Garnish,No Additives & No Sugar Added - are great to add to drinks. I love that the only ingredient is lime. I used it in carbonated water and it tastes delicious. The slices are thin as shown on the product listing photo but they seem to be very concentrated because I only needed one slice for 8 oz of water. They do look more brown in person than the product listing photo, but they still taste great. This is something I would purchase in the future and try other flavors.

These dried grapefruit slices are exactly what you would expect them to be. They arrived as complete slices. The smell is pleasant. They can be used as garnish, or in a liquid, where they do provide a nice grapefruit flavor. You can also simply eat them, but since they are not sweetened, they are quite bitter.
