Updated 9/28: I received an email from the seller regarding the replacement filters. My original review included a negative section about not being able to find replacement filters for the unit. I originally tried searching on the seller's amazon shop, general amazon search, and searching on a filter website with no luck. The product description does now seem to include information about the filter, and the seller's Amazon shop now seems to have a filter for sale (I searched "filter" and it came up). According to the seller and the product description, you can also search "B0CJM51JKB" to find the filter on Amazon or reach out to the seller directly. Increasing the review to account for this change. I appreciate the seller making the filter a little easier to find. Original Review: This air purifier is slightly loud, about as loud as a regular fan. It isn't intuitive on what the three speeds are (it is not low-med-high). It is On, Fan, and Sleep. I think when you turn it on, it is like medium, when you select the fan symbol it is high, and when you select the sleep setting, that is low. Even on the medium setting, the fan noise is noticeable. I don't mind the white noise when I am sleeping, so I leave it on "medium" and not sleep mode. I've left it running in my bedroom for about a week now, but I really haven't noticed a big difference in the air quality. I don't smoke or have pets, so there really aren't many "odors" that have to be removed. The size is nice for a bedroom or office, but I wouldn't go much larger than that. The air cleaner is crafted professionally with no loose or poorly fitting parts. Plastic used to make the air cleaner is durable and strong. Controls are easily seen and lit with pleasing soft blue lights. The fan has 3 speeds with the lowest used as the sleep mode. The sound level is passable on the lowest setting, but the 2hd and 3rd higher speed modes are a bit noisy. The fan produces a sufficient flow of air. It has two filters (Hepa and Charcoal). It also has an ionizer that helps the air purification process and a timer with 4 different hour settings. The instructions are "ok". Air purifier is made well, works as advertised with multiple operating controls. I believe it is a good unit for the price. ... show more

    • Good Purifier, not silent
We got this for our bedroom because we have been concerned with the air quality in the back room, especially while sleeping. I haven't really taken any measurements, but it seems the air is cleaner. I say that because we are sleeping alot more soundly since we got it, less sneezing as well. The unit is not silent, about as loud as a desk fan. That is a positive for us as we like some white noise to sleep to, but if you are looking for something completely silent, this is not it. The Sujoy air purifier takes a standard HEPA filter along with an activated charcoal filter to give a noticeable improvement in breathing quality. It has three speed setting, with the sleep setting the slowest and quietest. It also has timers to switch off in convenient time chunks. All selections are made using using buttons that light up the selections. I liked that this advertises an ionizer feature. Ionizers charge the particulate matter which helps to draw them to a charged conductor and can reduce mold and bacteria. But there are downsides to such too - creation of ozone and the need to periodically wipe down the conductor surfaces. I could not find out where the conductor surface is on this unit, and so dropping one star. ... show more

    • Super quiet - very nice high quality filters
Farmers are plowing the grass seed farms around us and it gets pretty darn dusty. We have a larger unit but wanted a smaller one for our bedroom and this does not disappoint. Nice size, clean sharp look. Make sure you remove the plastic from the filters and reinstall with the charcoal filter first, then the HEPA filter and cover. Runs quiet on normal but you can turn down the fan and it is even quieter. Three fan speeds and four time settings. Pretty easy to understand and operate. Filters last about six months and are about sixteen bucks on Amazon,to replace. Unit is well priced and lower here then other stores. Cons - from what I can tell there is no continual option. This could be a user issue for sure but dang if I can figure it out. Update - running great and decided to use it in my utility room. My pups come in at night and since they are farm dogs they tend to be dirtier then most which causes a problem for my Freeze dryer that also shares that area. I have used filter pads on the vents but it hasn't been enough to fully protect it and why I didn't think of using this there initially is beyond me but it is perfect. It has been running for the last few days and I already see a huge improvement where I am not replacing the filters on the machine as often. Super pleased as I think I have found a solution to a problem I have been putting bandaids on!! ... show more

    • Time will tell how well it works.
Only had it for short time. But it is a decent size. Not to small it won’t get the job done and not to big we’re it takes up a bunch of space or look bad. Was easy to set up. Just had to pull the back cover off the filters. Take the bags off the filters and put them back in the machine then replace the back cover. Plug it up and turn it on. Simple as can be. Time will tell if it helps with my pet dander, and smells of animals or dust. It does say you should put it on high to get the best results. But it is a little loud on high. About the sound of a small fan. Not to crazy but you def hear it If that is an issue for you. For my family it’s just white noise we’re used to, they do have a sleep function you can use and it makes the fan speed slower so you don’t hear it as easy. But otherwise it seems to be working ok. But time will tell how well it works ... show more
