If there was an option to rate this as 2.5 stars, I would, because I am literally split in my opinions on this toy. Let me start off by saying that this toy doesn't appear to be of the worst quality. I came to this conclusion after I performed something called the "flame test," where you take a silicone toy (without batteries, of course), and hold a flame to some un-important part of it. If the toy catches fire after being exposed to the flame for around 20+ seconds, it is not made of silicone. If the toy does not catch flame, and instead just produces a small amount of white/grey smoke, and/or some ash can you can mostly wash off, it is indeed silicone (or, at least, mostly composed of it). This toy refused to catch fire, and simply became a little melted (not too ideal, suggesting that it is likely a mixture of silicone and something else as a filler) in the area I tested, and like I expected, I could wipe off most of the grey ash. I also boiled it for around a few minutes to ensure there were no germs on it, and it tolerated the boiling water effortlessly. So, while I am still not 100% confident that this toy is completely body-safe & non-porous, and therefore, would not share it with a partner, it is still certainly not one of the worst that you can find on this site. Onto the (somewhat subjective) cons: 1. The texture is extremely, extremely tacky. If you are buying this toy with the expectation of a smooth feel, you can forget about that. It does not feel skin-like, or even halfway realistic, it feels "grippy," and requires more lube than normal due to this. Also, It will pick up every bit of dust, and pet hair in your room if it is not stored properly. 2. The suction cup is just okay, it does stick to a wide variety of surfaces: glass, wood, vinyl, and even drywall, but it will not stay there if you are making um...particularly vigorous motions, lol. It only really tolerates straight up and down movements...no grinding or anything like that. 3. It has a plastic/chemical taste and smell to it. Not overpowering or anything, but present enough to notice, even after cleaning it and airing it out. The taste is much more prominent than the smell. Lastly, here are the things I consider to be its pros: 1. The texture. While not particularly noticeable or out of the ordinary, the raised veins, little folds near the frenulum, and prominent ridge between the head and shaft were nice. A related warning to complete beginners: The fore-mentioned "ridge" might be a little too much for you. While, it's not out of proportion from the rest of the girth, its placement does create a noticeable drag. Generally, I'd recommend something smoother to start. 2. The design, I mean, if you're considering buying this toy, then you probably already agree with me on this point, lol. the clear, confetti look in combination with the "realistic" model of the toy is a cool stray away from the ultra-realistic toys that are popular on the market. It isn't glaringly life-like if you aren't into that, but it also isn't totally abstract. 3. The packaging. It came in a nice, plain cardboard box, further sealed in a plastic bag. If you are trying to be completely discreet, note that there is a sticker on it that says the measurement of the item, and has a barcode. The company name is also printed on the top of the box. 4. It holds temperatures pretty well. While it has a hard time adapting to internal body temp, it holds the temperature of hot water for around 5+ minutes before it starts to drop off, and cold water is even more noticeable. One last note: A lot of the reviews here complained about the insertable length of the toy being false. It is not, if you read close enough, it states that the overall length of the toy (in the og model) is 6.5 inches, and the insertable length is only around 4.8 inches. Pay close attention, as this might be a deal-breaker for some.
