    • My new Dreamcast
I bought this because my old Dreamcast had some trouble playing certain titles. Some games always ran (Spawn, Marvel Versus Capcom 2), but others (Shenmue, Jet Grind Radio, D-2, even good ol’ Crazy Taxi in latter days) displayed issues. Because my old Dreamcast and games were used in the first place, I wasn’t really sure if it was a problem with the game(s) or the system itself, but after considering that the (old) system came from a non-Amazon store that has since proven to be somewhat unreliable, I decided to order this Amazon Renewed product. My renewed Dreamcast arrived promptly, and in great working condition. After hooking it up and testing out some of my favorite games, I can safely say that the problem I had was in my old system. I no longer get a black screen or instantly brought back to the home screen after starting a disc, and I no longer play in fear of the game crashing unexpectedly or have to insert a good disc 20 < times before it plays. My Dreamcast arrived in spectacular condition. Very clean, no marks, scratches or marring. The controller was still tight and felt exactly like the 1999 release day DC I used to play on 20 years ago. I paired this with an HDMI adapter and and a clone GDEMU and am now reliving some of the best gameplay experiences I've ever had and more. I think a battery in charge of memory storage may be dead inside the unit since it can't remember the date, but she'll run 30 hours before quitting.

The media could not be loaded. DC turns on but won’t read any games. I’ve tried 3 games, and different cords, black screen after Sega screen everytime
