    • Simple and effective storage solution for shoes.

This helped me better organize my shoes and provided a less cluttered looking space. Once you've gotten the hang of the assembly, you can fly right through it. I was skeptical about the sturdiness but it's sufficient. I almost didn't get these because I needed a specific size. These needed to stack by two so they'd fit in shelving space a tad over 11 inches. The large was perfect size but my shoe size was larger than what's suggested here. I couldn't get the XL because 2 stacked would be two tall. Anyhow, I took a chance on the large. My shoes are size 10.5men/12women. I was thinking I could remove the little door if I needed to. To my surprise, they actually fit and I can close the door. Now, it won't fit every kind of shoe, such as running shoes with extra sole material that makes the shoes longer or too fat, stiffer ankle boots and such but it will fit for example...Vans old skool type shoes, adidas superstars, converse(low and high), Will even fit vans sk8 hi if you fold the ankles a bit. Loafers or most dress shoes as well. It may be possible to fit up to men's size 11 but I'm not sure. I mean the 10.5 really doesn't leave you much to work with. I just purchased these in Large and Extra Large. The XL are a good size but the Large seem to be a little bit smaller than what I imagined. The measurements are correct, you just might need to adjust your shoes on how you put them in the box. For the first 15 minutes, I really struggled with putting these together and I thought I was going to throw in the towel. Once I got over my frustration and logically looked at how to put them together, it was easy. Once you do one, it all comes together but it does take time. Considering how many of these you get for the price, it's worth it! They seem a little rickety when you first put them together but once the front and back go on, they get much sturdier. And I like how you can build as many as you can on top of each other so it's flexible within your closet, etc. My only recommendation would be that when putting the L and XL together, they use the same instruction sheet. And on the L, there are 4 tabs on each side but on the XL, there are 6 tabs on each side but the instructions say there are 4 which is what was throwing me off at first. My recommendation to the manufacturer would be to update the instructions if they change by size of boxes so it's less confusing. ... show more

These sure make my shoe collection so much neater looking than the rack I used to have. I love that you can open the little door on the front of each box for access as well as the transparency which allows for easy browsing. They also stack and hook together which keeps them neat and tidy! The boxes are also big enough that I can easily get two pairs of sandals in one, and even some flat soled shoes.
