This desk serves the purpose for given price tag. Assembly was pretty easy, took me a little over 2 hrs to put it together without any special tools. Came out nice, child is happy with final result. The material used is thin, but sturdy enough for a child use. like I said, didn’t expect more for that price. LED strip lights are pretty festive. This is fantastic quality, especially for the price. I find utter garbage for this price point from a lot of well known retailers. This desk has a solid metal frame, and while I didn't pay specific attention to the rest of the material used it is not going to have the finish just chip off of it like other furniture I've purchased in the past. Pros: Solid construction/ heavy duty extremely easy to follow directions (not really any words, but pictures and all parts are labeled!) extra parts- had 1 extra for each fitting needed when finished can assemble by yourself- easy enough to do as one person unless a child or very petite when it comes to moving sections or the finished product packaging- good care to keep everything safe tools- two allen keys, an actual screwdriver (and it was magnetic!), and a little wrench all holes aligned and none were missing fabric drawers- this is a love hate. I hate fabric drawers, but its understandable to help with shipping, and they still had good quality faces and handles. Also probably good that fabric drawers avoids the need for tracks, those always end up a headache with furniture. looks great! Cons: the tape for the light did not work correctly for install, had to find another way to secure it very annoying/tedious to do the doors due to having to unscrew and re-screw just to get the protective film off ... show more

It took a while to assemble since there were a lot of pieces, but the instructions were straightforward as long as you paid attention to the images. The wood feels durable and stable, and everything fit together nicely. My only complaint is that the drawers, both inside and out, are made of fabric, which I’m not a fan of, and one drawer’s handle and screws wouldn’t attach during assembly, so it’s missing a handle. Other than that, the desk is very sturdy, though the downside is that it can’t be moved without taking it apart. ... show more

    • A well designed sturdy desk
I appreciate the thought that went into the packing, every part is clearly labeled with a number and each fastener bag clearly labeled with a letter. A extra fastener was included in each fastener bag, just in case you lost one during assembly. Each part was wrapped in it's own plastic bag to keep it from being scratch during shipment and unpacking. There was a faint smell of fresh paint as I was pulling the parts out of their respective bags, but it was gone by the time I finished putting the desk together. The outer box was obviously abused in shipment but there was no damage or even a scratch on any of the parts. It included the normal Allen wrenches that come with all put together yourself furniture, but they went a step further and included a screwdriver and hex wrench as well, I didn't need to provide any tools to assemble this desk. The instructions are all pictures, save the one very important written instruction at the beginning to not tighten down all the screws until the top surface was attached. Ensuring the correct orientation of the support bar holes according to the instructions led to perfect alignment of all screw holes. Over all a well thought out design. I would not recommend this desk for young children's room, but for older teens and beyond this is a great computer desk with lots of desktop space and should last for quite some time. ... show more

I was doing tons of research looking for a new desk, as I was transitioning to a new job and was going to be working remote in my new role. This desk after receiving it, was well packaged, no issues, and the design is amazing. It checked all my boxes and I also using it for gaming too. The LED Light strip is the only thing I am having issues with as it keeps falling off. Which in my opinion is not a deal breaker, the desk was easy to put to together. In all the reviews I read, recommended using 2 people to get it done. I did it myself and used only the tools that came with the hardware in the box. I really like the desk and would recommend it to anyone that has a small, limited space. I got the 62"D x 43.3"W x 64.7"H, it fit perfect in the space I have for my desk. I purchased this desk for my work-from-home job. Its ability to be set up in four different ways is a big plus. I put mine together in one of the side-by-side setups to have a workbench for other projects. The faux wood print is good quality. It looks great in my office. It is a little shallower than an executive desk but was the right size for my monitor/keyboard/chair ratio. There were no issues with the shipment or build. All predrilled holes lined up as they should, and the hardware was exceptional quality for the price—no glue is needed/required! It is easy to take apart to move or set up differently.
