While a lot of it is metal, the top isn't (i don't know if its wood or plastic or something in-between, but it's not cold as least!) Super sturdy! Took a while to build, the instructions were not confusing but the tiny tool they give you will probably hurt your hands after a while. Super worth it though, just make sure to check the sizing! Glass is high quality and the rgb straps come with a pretty decent app, its got all the basics. The drawers are fabric but the wood panel on the front makes it sturdy and spacious Bonus: my cat likes to sit next to me as I play games, so its a 10/10 for me ... show more

Honestly love this desk more than I thought I would! It does take quite a long time to put together and you do need to be careful about what screws you’re using, but it seems very sturdy and high quality for the price. The drawers are made of foldable material similar to cube storage bins, but much sturdier. They’re also wide enough that I can nearly store my file folders horizontally. The desk itself is pretty big, but I was able to fit it into our smallest spare room without taking out the other furniture in it. I would recommend double checking with a tape measure just to be safe! The box is heavy, but none of the parts appeared to have any damage. It also comes with a tiny screwdriver and two different size Allen wrenches, and no other tools are needed. ... show more

Arrived a lot sooner than expected! Building it was definitely a lot more work and took a lot more time than I expected based on what it said on the instruction sheet but I'm not sure if that comes down to my experience building things of this size or what. Otherwise, feels pretty good for the price! Plenty of space, very stable, lots of options for placing my things or parts I wanted to include or not include. The instructions for the building part were also fairly clear the whole way through. I made a few mistakes during the process but overall, I was able to follow it pretty well. I was scared that some of the screw holes wouldn't align based on other reviews but I was pleasantly surprised! It was also the only computer desk I could find on Amazon that had a depth larger than 19 inches at around this price. Would absolutely recommend if you're looking for a computer desk with space. ... show more

This desk is a major upgrade to my last one! I love the cabinets with the sliding glass doors and the little LED light strip that’s included in the box. It’s great for gaming and there’s ample amount of storage space for trinkets, figurines, cables, etc. I did modify the assembly a little bit and left out the black metal shelf on the bottom to accommodate my giant pc and left out the fabric organizer that goes under the shelves. It’s still pretty roomy on the desk even though I have two humongous monitors. If you have normal monitors you’ll have a crazy amount of space. Assembly took me a while because I was working alone, but it wasn’t bad at all. You’ll want two people when you place the shelving unit on top of the desk though, it’s too cumbersome to handle alone.
