So it went together rather easy and instructions were very accurate thankfully. Just missing the LEDs it claimed to have… not a single one in sight. Edit: Changed to 5 stars, reached out to their customer service and they have shipped me the replacement LEDS. So between the quality of the desk which is pretty good for what it is, and the customer service I can forgive a QA problem such as missing a minor part.

I will be using this desk for streaming. I have a 27" curved monitor and a 24" flat monitor that both fit very well on the desk. However I did leave off the lifted part that the monitors are supposed to sit on as the bases of mine would not have fit on it. AS IT COMES TO THE CONCERN OF INSTRUCTIONS AND THE DESK "NOT GOING TOGETHER PROPERLY" The instructions are very clear and straight forward. There are even warning symbols and clear wording to ensure the pieces are facing the correct way when assembling. I put this together by myself, in about two hours. It went together very well and I had no issues simply following the instructions. My recommendation is to flip the desk upside down to secure the legs to the two large main desk pieces. This will make lining up the leg base with the holes much easier. Once that is done, flip it upright and attach the tall shelving that sits on one side. The LED lights are very nice and easy to control through the app on my phone. However the strip is quite short. there certainly is not enough to run the length of the desk as shown in the image. I placed the strip on the bottom shelf of the two tall shelves and it's a great glow. The desk is sturdy and would be great for working from home, streaming, school... anything. Just take your time with assembly and read the instructions carefully and there will be no issues. All tools needed for assembly are included. The only reason I gave this a 4 star review is because I wish it was slightly larger. More length and width on the main desk pieces would be nice, and the single self that monitors are meant to sit on was FAR too shallow. As I did not attach that part of the desk I do have holes in the back of the desk but they are so far back they will never be noticed. I hope this was helpful.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from Amazon it’s to ignore every person who gets on here and says an RTA item is junk because of bad instructions, misaligned holes, etc. Its almost always some middle aged man who thinks he’s Bob Vila who can’t read instructions or be bothered to pay attention to part numbers and then gets mad that two NEARLY, but not TRULY identical parts aren’t interchangeable and halfway through the assembly he can’t continue because - surprise! - the holes don’t line up. This product was fantastic and for the price you can’t beat it. Descriptions, dimensions and pictures were extremely accurate. The desk dimensions are a little small - my son is 5’6 and the depth is a little shallow, and the keyboard drawer doesn’t leave room for a mouse if you have a standard keyboard with ten key. Good quality especially for the price, will definitely purchase this brand again! GOOD INSTRUCTIONS IF YOU READ THEM!

For the money I spent, I would at least like it if it came with the proper hardware. I had to make a trip to the hardware store to get the proper sized screws. The labeled “C” screws were not long enough to screw in the pieces that make up the desk top. Even with one of my heavy buddies pushing down on the desk I was not able to get the screw to grab. Not all the pieces were labeled so I had to do a little guessing. The metal supports warp very easy if you use power tools to assemble. Overall, it looks pretty good. I wish there were back boards that I could install to make the desk more enclosed and that would also improve the sturdiness which isn’t the greatest. If someone asked me how I liked my new desk I would simply reply, “it will do..”
