I bought this to use as a hobby desk. Its great! Assembly took some time, but was quite easy if youve assembled Ikea type furniture before. Plenty of desk top workspace, love the shelves ,nice and sturdy. The keyboard shelf is perfect for what I needed it for. Undershelves are sturdy too. Plugs ontop of the desk in the rear are very helpful. Lighting on the shelves are neat, but not very useful..only for looks. ... show more

I like this table. Let me be honest, assembly was a pill. It was way too many parts. For the price it's sturdy and nice. The directions weren't the clearest. Everything fit as it was supposed to. The keyboard plank came damaged it was cracked.

I’ve been desk shopping for months and finally came across this masterpiece. It’s simple, yes, but it has more than enough utility to make it perfect for a PC gamer. First of it, this thing is sturdy. It has ample desk space for all your random things. Fits ‘most’ extra long gaming mousepads on both sides. The extended monitor riser is a great space saver too, keeping all your peripherals off the main desk space. Fits my two monitors and drawing tablet (not pictured). The hanging fabric storage thing is really nice, it holds quite a bit. Construction was easy, just follow the instructions carefully. I did it by myself. All the holes lined up well. Took about 3 hours with cats, half the time without. I love the side shelves too. The bottom perfectly fits my tower with enough room to vent on top. Mid shelf has ample space for your graveyard of water bottles. Top fit my oversized printer well. The hanging hooks are a cool feature as well, they hold my headphones okay. PLUS that metal mesh storage shelf that sits on the short side of the desk, underneath. It’s strong. Can fit 20 pound cat along with a mountain of papers and folders. RGB lights are always nice too. Half the strip came dead, the seller is awesome and sent out a new one right away. Definitely recommend. ... show more

We bought the grey oak wood effect desk and although a little tricky with missing a few pages of universal directions due to jumping to the l shape design page number it finally came together. I bought two, one in white and one in black. It's not a bad desk for the price. It takes some time to assemble and a couple directions could have been a bit more clear, but overall it's not difficult. The framing is solid and the desk top is composite but strong. With the two tier platform, the main desktop can be a bit narrow for larger monitor bases - I have a wide screen acer predator monitor that fits well in the corner (if you use the L shaped configuration) but doesn't leave much room against the 2nd tier platform. The sliding keyboard tray is not wide enough for some of the larger keyboards if you plan to use it (I have a Corsair K95 and it does not fit). It does come with its own power strip with 2 usb ports (one will be used by the led strip) to be mounted directly in the desktop. The LED strips are plug and play and work well. As for being reversible, there are 4 configurations. Those configurations cannot be a true mirror. As shown in the ad images (shared), you can see the keyboard tray locations differ, so the overall dimensions are not the same. The left L shaped is correct and assembled well. The right (mirrored) L shape is not possible without alterations, or a different configuration making one desk longer than the other. I did manage to make it work by swapping a couple end piece leg positions (item 2 and 3 in the instructions if I remember correctly) but the problems come when mounting the desktops. They have pre-fabbed holes that are not equidistant from the ends. To make the mirror position work, I had to drill 6 new holes in one of the frames, and 3 new dowel holes in the 2nd tier shelf. Overall, if you need a more organized work and/or gaming desk setup, this will give you the options and flexibility you may need without breaking the bank. I recommend, just don't stray away from the assembly directions. ... show more
