I've been in need of a new office filing cabinet, as I was using really low-quality cabinets before, and they were falling apart, and looked highly unprofessional and dilapidated. I was using a small cabinet for my keyboards, electronic accessories, and my vinyl collection and turntable. I then had a mismatched filing cabinet for all of my paperwork and other accessories. I saw this office filing cabinet, and decided that it would be the perfect addition to my home office. I will say, I'm reasonably surprised at how sturdy it feels, especially since I find this kind of furniture to be good really only for a couple of years until it starts falling apart. PROS I have read countless reviews complaining about how difficult the instructions are to follow. I had no issues at all with the directions. I felt as though they were very clearly illustrated, the parts were clearly marked, and the parts list was very helpful. There were only two spots where I was confused. One of them was just a misreading of the instructions on my part as to where to place a support strut, and the other was something to do with running the LED light strip. Otherwise, everything was very straightforward. The building and installation seemed to be another point of contention for a lot of people, but I really did not have any difficulty. I built it by myself in about three hours. All of the parts were accounted for, and everything went in reasonably easy. Even installing the LED light strip was easy to install. It looks really nice in my space, and ties in my office together very nicely. I also like that it's a textured kind of black finish, as opposed to a fake wood-grain. I feel like this is much easier to clean and maintain, and just looks better overall. The drawers are perfect for consolidating my electronic accessories, paperwork, vinyl collection, and keyboard collection. Having everything in one place saves a lot of room in my office, and really helps tidy it all up. CONS I assume this must have happened during shipping, but there was an impact mark on the shelf under the top that's pretty obvious. Thankfully there's no real structural damage, and considering that this is a nearly 90lb box, it could have been worse. It's still something I wanted to bring up. My issue with furniture like this is that, while the price is great, you get what you pay for. I ten to really like to tighten things up, but you really can't do that with this kind of wood, or you'll just strip out every screw hole. I ended up using a fair amount of wood glue to make sure that important parts stay where they need to be. More my fault than anything, but when I was moving this into place, the bottom center support snapped right off of the bottom of the unit. I think it would make more structural sense to secure the center support to the existing cross bars, but have it rest on the bottom of the unit. I actually might take off the legs all together and have this sit directly on the floor, I don't need the leveling capability or the added 5 inches. The smallest gripe, but still valid. I wish the anti-tip brackets they provided were black so they would match the cabinet more. VERDICT Overall, this is a major addition to any home office for less money. It looks great, it's easy to assemble if you have a few hours to kill, and it will help clean up any space. Just make sure you have help moving it, as it's very heavy, and make sure you don't over tighten ANYTHING, or you'll be making a trip to the store for wood glue. Despite the few shortcomings, for the price, this really can't be beat.

I love the look of this piece. The light just makes it look even better at night. It took a while for me to assemble as I did it alone but it was easy enough as long as you can read directions! I would totally recommend this as I wanted something that could also work in a bedroom, not just in an office.

This took a while to assemble, but it looks great when completed. I would give it five stars, but I do have a minor issue with one of the file cabinet drawers. The top drawer is filled with files, and when the drawer is closed, it leans in about an 1/8th of an inch. I tried tightening the screws on the drawer rail, but ended up adding a couple more screws. No issues after this. Other than that, the cabinet has exceeded my expectations. If I needed it, I would buy this again.

Was confused with the shipping process; keep in mind the cabinet comes in two separate boxes (Box A and Box B). Had package A arrive early and B the next day. Super fast shipping, but I was worried when I thought part of the cabinet was missing. Overall, a very great cabinet and worth the price you're getting it for. There are small flaws, like the acrylic doors having a small gap and not fully closing like the photos show (not a huge issue). Another flaw is the LED lights weren't sticky in certain spots, but I used Command Strips to stick onto the cabinet with no problem. It was easy to build with the help of another person. Happy with my purchase; lots of space for a collector like me!

Beautiful liece of furniture. However, there was one step in the instructions missing that I didn't realize until it was completely build and I had two extra pieces! Also, another step was not clear and I ended up damaging the shelf with 2 obvious holes. Additionally, I broke the center legs trying to move the cabine into place. It is not repairable.

Not great so far. The quality is great however the instructions are driving me nuts. The picture and detail will show one way, then 3 steps later itll show your last steps as a different way. I also am missing pieces to complete my install which I will reach out to the seller shortly but had to leave a review. I was very exctied and love building....but missing components and having to undo things to realign...is frustrating...currently 40% done and thats because I am missing the pegs to complete building the drawers...

I really like this item! I have to admit that it took me quite a few hours (seven to be exact) but my partner and I got it done! It looks wonderful in the area will be placed it, but my only grip has to do with the file doors. I thought they would look more Amber like it looks in the description online, but the doors are a more darker wood than I expected. I also expected the light to have an amber color like in the picture online, but the light display that I have doesn’t include this Amber color. That being said, I love the show space and I love how streamline this product is. I highly recommend it!
