5.0 out of 5 stars | Perfect to cover up a horrible, shedding couch!
Size: L-Shape Sofa Right
Color: Dark Brown
This couch cover is definitely worth buying if you don't want to spend $1000+ for a new couch. $179 is a little steep, but our sectional is so huge, this is the only one I found that fits it. (DONT purchase from slipcovernation.com who also sells large couch covers for 100+ inch sectionals, but they are a scam. I'm out $70 from them, and I never received anything in the mail) Anyways, it does the job and it looks just fine. Don't expect the couch to look like an expensive new sectional. It's a couch cover. Have low standards, and it'll come out way better than you think! Putting it on was not challenging. Followed the video and instructions it came with. No problem. It definitely could come with a few more of the cardboard inserts, but I just made my own.

2.0 out of 5 stars | Don’t buy unless it’s 25.00...
It’s Jan 4 and was thinking about a new sofa but instead spent 180.00 on this cover...first I will say don’t buy... way to expensive for the result I got. All the elastic strips buckle broke on first try. So cover doesn’t look good on my expensive sofa. Very disappointed. 180.00 is big time price for this and expected first class look. Major disappointed..

3.0 out of 5 stars | Could be better

Realistically, as it’s the only cover that comes close to fitting many sectionals, it is the one to buy. However! I honestly don’t feel it’s worth the price. I’ve had mine for about 3 months now and while I would say it gets moderate use it is showing signs of wear. Cats CAN snag the material contrary to claims otherwise. It’s not easy to put on but no cover is, really. I’ve had several, being a multi-pet owner. At the L it doesn’t conform neatly, it curves away from the sofa, so if that is going to bother you, you might not like it. The material is thin and puckered which allows for the stretching but it won’t appeal to everyone. It took me awhile to adjust to the look. I don’t love it but it’s better than my horribly cat clawed couch with the hole in one side where the cat burrowed through! I can’t afford to buy a new couch and duct tape is ugly and couch throws shift too much to be practical. This is a step up from those, but it doesn’t really look attractive to me, only okay. My sectional is U shaped, making it extremely difficult to cover. I ended up buying the L shaped and the 3 seat covers to cover the entire U shape. It works okay with some adjustments. The covers definitely could use better straps and it would be awesome if they came with pool noodles to anchor instead of cardboard that doesn’t really hold it in place. I think the material could be improved also - something thicker and more durable. I doubt this will hold up for more than a few years if I am lucky - and it was about $400 to do my entire sectional. I probably would think it was worth the price if I wasn’t on such a tight budget. I haven’t washed it yet, mostly because I dread putting it back on and the possibility that it won’t hold up in the machine. All in all, I am okay with it because it serves the purpose but I would like to see improvements to quality and durability or a reduction in price.

1.0 out of 5 stars | Possibly the ugliest thing ever
Size: L-Shape Sofa Left
My wife and I purchased this because it is the ONLY elastic one-piece cover for our L-shaped sofa. We saw the pictures and weren’t sure but figured we’d try it. It must look better in person. It is so damn ugly. I can’t believe I paid $180 dollars for this. Who does this pattern appeal to? Why not just make it regular spandex material? It looks so so bad.

3.0 out of 5 stars | Works fine - ugly as hell

I didn't realize but it's the same fabrics as those weird shirts that looks like they fit an infant but that stretch to fit a giant. So essentially it's stretch pleating. It reminds me of Addams Family curtains. It works for the purpose - saving our couch from the three dogs in our home - but damn it's ugly. We have a couch almost exactly like the one in the product photo, but rest assured it does NOT work in the seam between chaise and sofa. Tucking it in is easy, but it pops out promptly. We have bought dowels at the local hardware store to try to keep it in place to bop avail. We have a weird 1 foot stretchy triangle where the sofa and chaise meet that we can't problem solve. The provided clips are not enough to hold that part in place. I'll be looking for one that is two separate pieces and just stretch fabric, not pleating, that should fit better.

4.0 out of 5 stars | High hopes!

We just bought a lovely new couch because the dogs destroyed our last one (chewed the pillows, cover, etc.). We kept the old one covered with blankets and would pull them off when guests came. They looked ratty and awful and never stayed in place. When we got the new couch, we wanted to cover it with something nicer and keep it safe from the dogs. I had tried the covers before that just lay over the couch, and the dogs would kick them up and they didn't stay in place either. I read the reviews of a lot of products and this seemed to have good ones, though it's a bit pricey. First, to address the ease of installation: my 12 year old opened the package and neglected tell me it came with instructions. We were able to figure it our ourselves and had it on in just a few minutes. Super easy! It looks nice - it's a cover for a couch, so it's not going to look as nice as the couch itself, but we wanted to keep our new couch safe from the dogs so this does the trick. I like the scrunched fabric, too. It looks nice enough that when guests come over we don't need to take off, but we probably will as it was so easy to put on. I included a picture of the couch before, and after, and for fun, a picture of one of the couch wreckers. I didn't give this 4 stars because the material does seem thin - I'm hoping the dogs nails don't tear through it. Fingers crossed! If this lasts a year I'll be thrilled!! Update: 11 months later and it's still going strong. I do wish the fabric was a little more dog friendly and I do need to readjust it every few days, but I'm happy with it. Thinking of ordering another one for when this one is in the wash. Update: About 1 year later and I broke down and bought another one. The dogs finally tore a whole in it. Also, the threades that keep the fabric rounched always break I always seem to be cutting them. All in all, considering how nice it looks, I'm pretty happy with this and am surprised it lasted as long as it did. Again, would love a more durable dog-resistant material.
