Fantastic wallet and I've been through probably a dozen different brands like, Bellroy Card Pocket, Herschel, Coach, LoC,Et Ali, etc. I finally decided to try this SecRID after a recommendation of a family member. I have to say the hype is real for this wallet. The sliding mechanism that pushes the cards out works perfectly and is about the fastest way you could present a card. The action is smooth and reliable. My must have is a small compact wallet that can be carried in my front pocket, but I've found that many of them may be slim but very hard to access your cards when needed because its so cramped. This SecRID takes care of that problem. I chose the Chocolate vintage leather which is gorgeous and I like the fact that the aluminum portion is also in brown which looks great. My only small nit pick is that when you place a few bills in the money holder it does make the leather fold sit a little higher but not enough to really matter and I'm sure when it gets broken in it will lay completely flat. If I had one recommendation for improvement, it would be making the leather flaps magnetic (somehow even though its aluminum) which would keep it closed without having to purchase the one with the snap which I think adds more bulk. Other than that this thing looks great and holds a large amount of stuff but still keeps it minimal in your pocket. Also, for those reviewers who complain about it not holding much it holds plenty (5-6 cards) in the pop up and several more in the side sleeves. Got this for my husband a couple Christmases ago, he didn’t use it for a while because his mother also got him one right before (clearly he needed one haha). But a few months ago he started using more cash and needed a slightly bigger wallet. This turns out to be the perfect size-big enough for some cash, but not bulky. Pros: The cards actually stay in the wallet regardless of the amount stored. Leather is nice quality. Cons: Leather seems to be cut way too wide and overlaps the cardholder when closed. Leather kind of flops around and doesn't want to naturally stay closed. There is a snap version that might fix this problem for you but I didn't want the snap. I need to hold more cash than makes sense for this wallet. When I hold the amount of cash I need it gets quite bulky and defeats the purpose of a small wallet. ... show more

This wallet is the perfect replacement to the bulky billfold. It seemed like Everytime I tried to replace my wallet, the billfold style I chose got bulkier and thicker. I try to keep my wallet out of my back pocket to avoid back pain and this minimalist design works perfectly. It should be noted that keeping more than a few bills in can add some stretch to the leather, but it settles eventually and closes fine. And if you're worried about having too much stuff in your wallet now to transfer over, you'll kinda learn to let some things go...
