I've been using this switch to run the glow plugs on my diesel Suburban for 2 months now, and it has performed flawlessly. No complaints. The switch I was using for the starter kept giving me problems, so I replaced it with another of these a few weeks ago. It now operates flawlessly. I've used a half-dozen different momentary switches on various projects/vehicles, and for high-current operations this is so far my favorite. Could be better if it has a 2nd locking nut. As supplied, the red cap is the locking nut. I will use locktite.

I used this switch to bypass a failing neutral safety switch on our older car when it won't start when warm. The switch is well made and requires significant enough pressure to actuate so as to avoid unintentional use. As another reviewer pointed out, the red cap may not be the most secure. Works great in a saltwater marine environment! would buy again! This is a momentary on switch as in you have to hold it down! Great for a horn... I used it with an inline fuel pump to prime my motor.

Good quality item. The diameter do the shaft is at least 1/2" so unlikely to fit in an existing hole, so be ready to drill a big hole! Works as expected.
