Sold my 2011 f150 that had Beamtech LEDs and got a 2015. After the first night I knew I wanted led bulbs, but the 2015 up f150s have dust caps that prevent most LEDs from fitting. These things are almost the exact same size as the halogen bulb, including the fan. They fit in the housing with about 3/8th of an inch for ventilation. I took the truck for a spin after some adjustment, and wow visibility is noticeably improved. Walking down the road and looking at the truck, the flare is minimal. They feel pretty durable, but if there’s any change or problem with them I’ll be back to update. Installation was easy- remove fender liner, twist old bulbs out, install new bulbs, reassemble. So far it’s a good value, as halogen bulbs are more expensive than these.

I ordered a set of four (two low, two high) for a 2007 Toyota Corolla. The bulbs came well packaged in a foam-lined box, each labeled with a bulb number. The high and low bulbs are not interchangeable, so this was helpful. There is a small box attached to the control wire for each bulb that needs to be placed near the headlight assembly. Included in the box is a set of double-sided foam tape so you can attach the box to the assembly to keep it out of the way. I had a problem installing the high beam bulbs in my assembly. I had to move the washer from its default position so that it was closer to the base of the bulb to get the bulb to fit in the assembly. Included in the box are replacement washers to be used if the default washers are too small, but that was not my problem. Because I could not see the problem with the assembly installed, I had to remove it, which required removing my front bumper first. That added to the installation time. If I had known what to do with the washer, I would not have needed to remove the bumper/assembly. I would not call this a design flaw – it may be specific to my headlight assembly. Hopefully my experience can save someone else some time and effort. I also had a problem with my daytime running light. As installed, the DRLs flickered. I contacted Sealight, who responded quickly telling me that they are working on a fix for this, but the bulb does not dim without flickering. The solution was to purchase a CANBUS adapter. They gave me the ASIN for the part I needed. It arrived in two days. I had a small problem with that – as delivered, the lights do not power up. You must rotate the power connector to change the polarity. There is no documentation with the adapter. I read about that in another Amazon review. The adapter is another box, so there are now six boxes behind my headlight assembly (one attached to each of the four lights plus two more for the added adapters). I used thermal tape to bind the adapter and the low-beam boxes and placed them. It’s a little crowded behind the assembly, but it works. The downside to this installation is that the DRLs now run at the full brightness of the low-beam lights. It’s not a perfect solution but should be all right. Sealight quickly refunded me the cost of the adapters – great customer service. I now have bright new LED headlights that are a significant improvement over my old, dimming halogen bulbs. The beam pattern is the same as the halogens, though brighter. It doesn’t look like these are too bright for nighttime travel. I am happy with the new bulbs and really pleased with the great customer service I received from Sealight. I highly recommend them.

The quality of these lights are OUT of this world for the amount of money. For a fraction of the price of Slyvania Halogen “white” bulbs, they fit perfectly and look chic. As white as white can be! My car looks SO much more fierce after adding these bad boys. They are at least 20x more brighter than my yellow halogen bulbs. The best part is? They fit perfectly in where the halogen bulbs are suppose to be with no glaring or flickering. The instructions were so simple that it took me 4 minutes for 4 bulbs. 1 minute each bulb! They came with gloves and extra rings incase they fell off. 10/10 would definitely buy again!

These were fitted on a 2014 Fiat 500 Abarth. They replaced the OEM without having to modify the sealing cap, that is the main thing. There is one modification you have to make to align the LED so that when the bulb locked the LEDs are at 3 and 9 O'Clock. The Sealight instructions are quite adequate in how to move the lock ring to make this alignment. For the Fiat, after removing the Oring, and removing the two small screws, turn the lock ring one hole counter clockwise. See the attached pic. Then reinstall and tighten the screws and reinstall the Oring. NOTE! All this must be done without touching the LEDs with any part of your body. Sealight actually provides cotton gloves for this purpose. If for any reason you do touch the LEDs clean them with denatured alcohol. As far as the beam goes, the cut off is great and so is the beam intensity. For the price it is an excellent replacement. (As a side note these replaced a LED bulb that could not be adjusted and consequently the beam pattern was horrible)
