I've tried a lot of fluorocarbon leader materials over the years, but Seaguar has won me over completely. Seaguar Gold Label has quickly become one of my favorites. The best thing about it is how thin it is for its breaking strength. It ties excellent knots, remains nearly invisible in the water, and I think it gives my presentations a more natural look and flow in the water. I've used it in both freshwater and saltwater applications but mainly use it on my saltwater rigs it's great for summer fluke fishing. Whether fishing around rocks, docks, oyster beds, or heavy cover, it holds up extremely well. It also has just the right amount of stiffness to resist tangles while still allowing lures and live bait to move naturally. The knot strength is excellent, and I haven't experienced unexpected break-offs or failures. While it's a little more expensive than Blue Label, the performance and thinness of it produces well the fish are being finicky which makes it well worth the investment imo. ... show more

This is a great fishing line for leaders. It is strong and very sensitive with braid as your main line. The diameter is excellent. On my last fishing trip with a co-angler, I was catching 4:1, and he was using the same bait, just had a heavier leader. This leader line is a little pricier than the KastKing. Very thin, Very clear and Very strong for 12# line. Somewhat expensive for main line, but great for leaders. Can use either way. Flexible and easy to tie most knots. Substitute this 12# thin, clear line, for other brands of lighter sizes,(4#-8#) leaders, and you will land the majotity your fish!
