I wear an 8 and bought the appropriate size but they're too small to wear anywhere you need to walk. They're ok when swimming but that somewhat defeats the purpose. 8 is usually a little big on me so I usually have a little extra wiggle room so if these are too small that definitely means they will run really small on the average person.

I got these for water aerobics, and they work fine. The only issue is that the inside lining slips around and it can be really annoying during class.
