This expansion is wonderful! I am now able to over double area with this. I hope they come up with a way to expand the other axis! If not. It's a home depot trip away!!!

This is a great idea for getting an extra large Engrave area, but you will have to get very creative in finding a way to keep the very long cables out of the way when the head is moving. The cables get in the way and ruin cuts. They need to provide a better cable management system with this. For $100 they could have cut the cables differently and included a drag chain or two. This is especially evident when you are also trying to add an air assist line.

At first everything was working fine and then the next day I went to go use it everything but the laser was working. I put the old cables back in and everything started working again but now i'm not able to engrave big things anymore.

Great product, well packaged and solid construction. I have the both S9 and s10 laser and love them... But this expansion is advertised to fit both and the cable is only for S9 and earlier models not the S10.

In the description it states that it came with all motors and there was no need to buy additional accessories. My wife purchased this for me so that I can have the extended X,Y axis along with the original that came with the machine. The kit only came with 1 of 3 motors, no feet and multiple other items that they expect you to remove from your old frame. When brought to their attention they will try to sell you the pieces they didn’t include in the kit. So I paid over $1000 for the original machine and frame and $236 for the extension and now my original frame is useless along with the cam500 I have and the rotary tools. I would not purchase this item or any other item from Sculpfun again. Talking with their customer service is pointless because all they try to do is sell you the parts they didn’t include. After months of trying to get a price list for the parts they don’t include it was over $300 additional
