I LOVE IT!!! This is the best. I have this on my balcony to block some of the sun light since I'm allergic to the sun. It keeps the bugs out and keep my out door furniture dry (for the most part). It is wind resistance as long as you have it secure and tied. I have my outdoor furniture on it to keep it secure from wind and rainstorms. It was easy to assemble and quick. This was a very great product. I was skeptical because of the few reviews but I was very satisfied with the product. I used it twice at a picnic. The only problem I had was figuring out how to close the thing but once I did, it was very easy the next time. I would recommend they put instructions on how to close the tint for others or a video. Great product and I would highly recommend.

Love how easy it is to set up and take down. Only issue is when I first set it up 2 of the ground anchors ripped off and now I have to figure out how to sow them back on… really should be reinforced.

This is about what I expected at the price point. The fabric is not rip-stop and is coated on the inside with some kind of plastic. The maker says it is not waterproof but it wouldn't surprise me if it doesn't leak much in lighter rain. Water should run off the corners pretty well but I didn't spray it with the hose to check. It should provide some UV protection but I can't say how much. Because it's tall and has a smallish footprint your shade won't be inside it all day, maybe mostly around midday. You can figure out a way to hang sheets or towels or something on it to block rays from one or two sides I am sure but there are no loops for that anywhere. Setting it up was easy. Once you've done it once you'll see how it works and it won't be a problem even in the dark for you. Putting it away is another story. The first steps are simple enough but the last two pages of the illustrated instructions are confusing to say the least. I just gave up on them and manhandled it through the last stages with trial and error. It has almost no stability if not staked down and a breeze can knock it on its side easily. There's no bottom so it won't stay in the square shape with staking the corners and guylines should be used. The stakes are aluminum but hexagonal in cross section and thicker than the really basic ones you'll see included with some small tents. Four nicer than expected guylines are included in the drawsting stake bag with cord keeper. The bag for the roof poles is similar. A good value in a small shade or insect shelter that's easy to move and set up. It won't be easily damaged the way some pop-up canopies can be and is quicker to set up than many such structures. Those also are bulkier and heavier, even the lighter-weight ones that are more prone to structure damage.
