I could not really tell what it was from the description so let me explain. the set comes with a notebook and each page is named after a famous oil painter. there are a few sets of washy tape and two sets of stickers. They are flower and oil painting themed. There is one metal bookmark that is so cute! Is is basically a journal scrap booking kit that is oil painter themed. This set is really nice. Great if you really appreciate art at its finest. The included journal has a nice strong magnetic closure. Every page is decorated with art from the masters. The designs do repeat throughout the book. I wasn't happy with this. Nor was I happy with the amount of Washi tapes. At first glance it looks like a lot but the cardboard core is large and thick and there is really very little tape on them. What there is though is simply beautiful which is why I only dropped one star. The notepapers and stickers are also quite beautiful. The included metal bookmark is a nice touch. I plan on doing some art journaling and this set is perfect for that. It would also make a perfect gift for your favorite art lover. ... show more

This is a lovely set as far as looks go, but the words seem horribly translated in many cases. The worst one is "I think death is easier than life. Death is painful, but life is more painful than death." What on earth?! I tried to see if it was a quote from someone famous, but I couldn't find anything. It's used multiple times, so beware if thinking of getting this as a gift. There are many others that are just odd and don't make sense. The cover of the journal has this: "The old dog barks backwards, without getting up, I can remember when he was a pup." I know that's from Robert Frost, but it's weird, and I don't like it on the cover. We're all different, though. Other than odd sayings and all, it's a beautiful set. The journal isn't blank, but there are various designs on the pages. There are lots of stickers and rolls of washi tape. Most of it will make beautiful additions to scrapbook types of journaling. ... show more

This is a beautiful set of pink watercolor items - I'm just not sure I'd refer to it as a ''journaling kit" exactly. Despite the product description referring to the journal as 'Large' and 'Bigger Size' - it's 5x7 inches. Product description lists the size in metric - so the smaller size might be surprising for those who don't take the time to convert to inches. The journal itself is beautiful. I love the interior pop-up. That's such an artsy touch! Each of the pages of the journal contain absolutely beautiful watercolors and then room to write. This is why I'm confused as to why it's marketed as a 'journaling kit' -- as all of the other items: stickers, notecards, and washi tape contain the same types of images as those already found inside the journal - so I'm not sure why you'd add more. However, that could just be me - there's definitely something to be said for 'more is more'. I'm happy with all of the items. I'll use the journal (and the nice brass bookmark) separately and then keep all of the other items to incorporate into other art projects. When I first saw the package I was a disappointed because it's all written in Chinese and I couldn't read any of the details about the kit so I honestly thought it was gonna be a little cheap. After I opened it up, I realized I was surprisingly wrong. This kit is really beautiful! The sticker don't repeat. The washi is well over 12 inches before it starts to repeat the pattern. And each page in journal is dedicated to an artist. I feel I appreciate art enough to review this scrapbooking kit enough. I'm thoroughly impressed and utterly surprised. 5 stars. ... show more
