I’ve only worn these a half dozen times but they are comfortable, stay in place and provide excellent coverage and protection. Aside from tripping while walking away from my motorcycle I haven’t tested them to extremes. Purchased these as a cheap option for sparring armor to use with HEMA/SCA. They are quick to put on/take off, easy to adjust, and the floating elbow/knee construction is a nice feature to help protect joints. I can't speak to their performance on dirtbikes as that is not my sport of choice. If using them for HEMA, you will probably want to add some leather or fabric and plastic to cover your inner arm for impacts, but that is a fairly simple addition if you are handy with a sewing awl. ... show more

First off I want to say the material this armor guards are made of is really good. Held really well in a slide as you can see. The main issue I have with these armor pieces are the straps. One of the straps broke from the cheap material, and one of the leg armor pieces slid off during the slide causing my knee to get skinned, therefore I cannot recommend these are good protection. Even though the armor is good, whats the point if the straps break and it can't be utilized. Please look elsewhere for a sturdier product. ... show more

Elbows - Forearms - Knees - Shins ◄ mine are protected from off-off-road minibike mishaps with these. Straps and fasteners feel cheap, but have lasted thru several dozen on-off cycles, being used with care. I would definitely buy again.
