My husband is a snob and only used Charmin. I switched to Presto Ultrasoft a few years back and he was ok with it. Scott ComfortPlus came on sales for a very good price and couldn’t help trying to trying it out. Unlike traditional Scott toilet papers, these are actually really nice and yes, it’s SOFT! It may not be as soft as Charmin but my butt is not picky. For this price, it’s a better choice overall. Scott rolls are smaller than any brands I had tried but that doesn’t bother me. I usually use 1-ply Scott 1000 because one roll seems to last forever even though you gotta unroll quite a bit to have a satisfactory amount. I decided to try the softer style of paper to see if it was better in any way. Well, the tissue is softer, thicker, and stronger than regular 1-ply, which I did like, but the "Triple" rolls are surprisingly small. I do not know what they are a triple of, but I'd say that these rolls are for creatures much smaller than the average adult human. I live alone and don't think I use ridiculous amounts of TP, and yet one "Triple" roll lasts me about one day, so after less than two weeks I needed to get more of something. I went back to Scott 1000 for now. If you have a rarely-used guest bathroom with limited space, these might be useful. But even for a single person, I cannot recommend the Triple rolls for your main bathroom unless you live in a truly tiny home with very picky plumbing. Maybe try the "Mega" rolls, with about twice the number of sheets. I might do that myself and see if they are worthwhile. ... show more
