This product is a great idea and definitely simplifies shipping. I wouldn't use it to ship anything I would't ship in a padded envelope. It's not rigid like a box, but more pliable like padded envelopes. It's very easy to use and great for odd shaped items. However, for the price, it's an awful value. I foresee myself getting 6-9 packaging uses out of this roll. For the same price, I could buy 25 padded envelopes that is the same amount of packaging. Terrible value, especially for business owners like myself. If you're casually shipping items, or occasionally have to ship a strange sized item, this works great. It seals well, is durable, and the size versatility is awesome. It's so stupidly easy to use. No tape or adhesives needed, just some scissors. However, if you own a business and ship a lot, this is not the product for you. Also, another downside, I don't see where this is recyclable, reusable, or made with any recycled materials. I see people saying that it SEEMS like it's not protective, and it SEEMS like someone can just open it back up. Well I have actually used this stuff for my eBay store orders and let me tell you, I love it! I've shipped lots of things in this roll and they have all arrived safe with no complaints. If you have a fragile item or something that can be squished, all you have to do is get some extra bubble wrap or some other protection and then wrap it up. As for the people saying they think people can get into it and just seal it back up.. HAH! I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY! I say this because I forgot the packing slip for an order this week, and tried to pry it back open to slip it in, but nope. I would've had to rip it up as when the sides stick together, if you don't try to open it back up right away (before you press it together) then you're not going to be able to get back into your package. I don't understand how it works but it does! It sticks to itself but not the item. It's great and it's saved me a ton on shipping instead of finding a tiny box, or without having to get a million different sized poly mailers. If I wanted all the sizes of poly mailers that I truly need, I'd be out at least $50. This stuff is great, I just wish they had more widths for clothes and whatnot. My other big complaint is the price!! Not only is it pretty high for what it is but it changes CONSTANTLY! I can't stand sellers that choose to do this but it's so convenient that I will wait for a sale like I did this time. I've gotten both sizes rolls now and that's my only issue, is the price. Both rolls are priced at about $1 per 1 foot. That's way more than a poly mailer and some bubble wrap would be. So only get this if it's on sale. ... show more

Junk. This stuff would sometimes stick and other times not. The adhesive would stay while the protection would peel right off.

This product is absolutely amazing. I had an odd shaped toy I needed to send to my niece. I measured out a piece I needed, added the toy, folded the package over the toy and pressed the edges together to create a shipping package. I wrote her address directly on the package with a black permanent marker. It arrived at its destination with no problem. I recommend this for anyone!! ... show more

I think it's good for bizarrely shaped items but if you're an online seller it just doesn't economically make sense. Bubble mailers are just as good and cost way less, I'd still put anything breakable in a box instead of this, there's really just no scenario where it would make sense to use this as a replacement for bubble mailers for online sellers because of the fact that it costs 10 times more than bubble mailers. If this was the same price as bubble mailers it might make some degree of sense to use it. That being said, I am an online seller and keep a roll of it on hand in case I ever have to ship something non-breakable that I just cannot fit into a bubble mailer. ... show more

There's no doubt about it - the product is great, the shipment is fast.. however since I ordered my first 20ft roll on June 4th to when I ordered the next on June 10 there was a 10.78 % increase and as I return to order another on June 14th there is now a 14.81 % increase....
