Preparing for an upcoming move, I decided, rather than use lots of various sized boxes - at this price - it made sense to get 2 packs of these boxes so that most of my boxes will be similar in size. This should make it easier during the moving process for packing into the truck, whether done by movers, or myself. Although described as medium in size, I would say - compared to most 'medium sized' boxes, these are closer to large (larger than a printer-paper box). But not so large as to put too much into them so it makes it difficult to lift. These are the perfect size for moving. And with the handle holes - they are ideal. They are only 'cheap' in price, not in quality. Rated for 65 pounds - I could see that being the case; although that would be more than I would want to put in, for moving. They are the simple fold and tape type - not the type that has a double fold-in base. The boxes are essentially blank on all sides, except for the "medium" indicator on one side - which allows for plenty of room for writing on. Quality boxes at a good price. ... show more

I purchased these boxes because the "handles" on the side would make them easier to lift. Books can be rather heavy and these boxes work great. The first one I assembled, the handle ripped. However once I put 3 strips of packing tape in both directions on the bottom of the box and put a couple less books in the box, no more worries. Needed to move and order these bc cheaper than U-Haul… they were worth it! I love the side handles especially bc I moved all my things alone and it made it easier. It came with packing tape, and a marker. I got enough for a one bedroom and had extra mostly medium boxes.

Heavy cardboard, nice clean cuts, and easy to setup. First roll of tape didn't stick well. Change rolls and it worked fine.

I ordered more boxes than what I needed just to play it safe. I’m glad that I did. Some of the boxes tipped from the handles and others didn’t look like they were going to hold for long. The cardboard was thin and weak. Another thing is that for some reason, the tape wouldn’t stay glued onto the boxes. The tape would just unstick. Anyways… they did the job but I bought bigger stronger boxes for the heavy items in my move to my new place. These here weren’t going to hold ... show more
