  • Runs small, quality helmet Runs small, quality helmet
Color: Topographic 2 Red/White/Blue Size: X-Large
Be advised measure yourself and go by the sizing chart. I consistently wear a large in other brands and I required the XL. The quality and clarity of the large field of view shield is impressive! It is thick material with a large thumb tab on both sides for easy use with gloves regardless of R/L hand dominance. I usually always go with a solid color unless it’s an off road helmet. I went with the Red/White/Blue Topographic 2 scheme and it is a beautiful helmet. The graphics coloring and lines are very good quality. The modular chin bar is smooth and easy to use, the off road visor is easily removable and has blocking plates to cover the hardware while running it without the visor. The drop down sun visor is easy to use and has a smooth action. I was excited to discover the helmet has D-rings for the securement and therefore can be precisely adjusted to comfort, and I know it’s secure. If you prefer the quick release mechanism, then go with another helmet. I love the quick release on my other helmets but I’m always aware that there is a potential for failure….All in all this helmet hits above its price point! I’ve had helmets ranging from Fulmer to AGV and I am impressed with the quality and comfort of this helmet! The pictures don’t do the helmet proper justice, this is beautiful helmet. ... show more

  • Pretty good helmet
Been using this helmet almost daily for about a month now. Some points to note: * Helmet was tight for a day or so but has broken in nicely. Fits very comfortably and is by far the most comfortable helmet I've ever worn. My head size is about 7 1/4 and I have an oval type head. I got a medium and it's perfect. My wife is about a 6 3/4 oval and she got the small, which is a perfect fit after break in. *It's still pretty chilly for my morning commute up at 6000 feet in the mountains and the helmet is warm. I ride city to open highway every day for about a 60 mile roundtrip commute. Has a collar around the bottom of the helmet that keeps the cold air from coming in and works really well. Was 38 for one of the morning rides and stayed warm doing 65. 80 in the afternoon and didn't feel like I was going to overheat. *Cruising at 65-70 there isn't a whole lot of noise. I don't feel like I need ear protection. *Visors are really good. Good clarity and no notable fogging so far. Started to fog on me one day but then I opened the front vent and zero fogging after that. Visor stays in place with the cracked position which gives you more air in slower traffic yet still protects you from being hit in the face by bugs and such. However I had a hitchiker honeybee that almost crawled in through the crack lol. That could have been interesting..... *Weight is good. I don't feel like the helmet is too heavy. Used to ride a full face Harley helmet. It was quite a bit heavier and much less comfortable. *The modular flip up full face portion is really good. It is easy to use and makes putting the helmet on and taking it off much easier than a traditional full face. Stays put in the fixed positions. No wonkiness at all. Overall I really like this helmet. Bought one for me and one for the wife and she likes hers too. These helmets are a bit pricey, but you really do get a lot for your money and I think to get a better helmet you would have to spend 700 or more. For us it was worth the money. Excellent helmet!!! ... show more

  • Great value
Color: Topographic 2 Black/White/Grey Size: Large
Fit - very good, comfortable. I wear Shoei medium. I bought this one in large Visibility - very good; peripheral very good Features - very good. Good value for money Noise levels - very good. But, I ride behind a small fairing. I’m keeping the visor on too. Weight - a little heavy. Or, it could be my old weak neck. I’d buy this one again. I really like it. ... show more

  • Go up 1 size for fitting Go up 1 size for fitting
Color: Solid Matte Black Size: Large
I liked how fast the shipping was. It is a tight fit for my head. I went by the “sizing chart” and ordered what I thought would be the perfect fit. The issue I have is the fit is pretty tight around the forehead area, and also around the mouth. Don’t get me wrong, this helmet does exactly what I need it to do, but if you go by the “sizing chart” and the measurements tell you you need a “Large”, I would recommend that these areas will be tight (around forehead and mouth). The Matte Black is awesome and so is the comfort of the helmet (for the most part). The “road noise” isn’t cancelled out, but my head felt a steady breeze while riding, and the helmet is pretty light in weight. Earbuds would fit too. This helmet is very “user friendly” I enjoy the modular aspect of this helmet, and that it’s user “ready” for the comms. The road noise “would probably be” reduced if you install the Bluetooth that is offered when you “purchase” the helmet. I did not purchase the comms just so that is known for people on the market for a new lid replacement. I live in Southern California, so the weather isn’t as extreme here. My head didn’t get overheated while riding midday afternoon, nor did it feel the cold of the night after 10pm. I really like the (included) sun visor and it helps with road glare or eye fatigue from the sun. Overall, I am happy with this and will give the helmet some time to shape to my head. Hopefully the tightness around my forehead will loosen up overtime. It is worth the money and shipping was extremely fast. The build quality is superb in my opinion as well. The liner is removable. Also, it comes with instructions for daily use, and for the communication system that can be purchased. I can also wear my shades while riding and it feels more natural. The visor also feels very stable and does provide eye protection from sun glare. The only reason I gave it a 4 star review is because of the fitment around my forehead and how close it feels to your chin. ... show more

  • Quality Helmet, Nice features, Ventilation... meh
Returning to riding after many years away; this is the first convertible helmet I have ever worn, I really like the feature. Snaps down securely and locks in place. Fit my head in accordance with the measurements provided; snug fit as it should be. The inner sun visor can be dropped down for bright sunlight with gloved hand; I have a bit of a big snoz and the sun visor does just touch my nose but not uncomfortable. It does fog up on cold mornings but easy to pop up to pinlocks using either hand. Starting to get warm this week and I don't think the ventilation is going to be adequate in mid-summer. Very happy with color and graphics design; light colored helmets are 10* cooler than black helmets. It is not a quiet helmet, at least not with the visor on. Not terrible but, not quiet. Solid and has the more stringent ECE (European) safety standard (DOT is a very low safety standard and not sufficient protection). ... show more

  • Great helmet!
This is the second Scorpion helmet I have bought and thier size carries over to thier other helmet styles so no guessing what size to order. The helmet is very well made. I love the sun shields made into these helmets, other brands stop short I have found, making the shield unusable, but these go all the way below your eyes just above the bridge of the nose where it needs to be. Graphics are nice and not to over powering. Helmet fits very well with no pressure points, and all flip up visors work smoothly. Only thing I would not recommend is buying the communication system from this company and the reason is my other helmet came with it already installed, has the best sound I have ever heard in helmet speakers but they built in the mic to the left ear speaker making the system useless for voice once you start moving it is unable to pick up what you are saying. With the modular helmet you need a boom mic to make sure the system is in front of your mouth for it to be useful. But if you are just wanting music or directions in your ear the speakers are high quality with excellent sound. But I went with another system for this helmet and works just fine. I would highly recommend thier helmets though, you won't regret the purchase. ... show more

  • When you find something that works…until it doesn’t When you find something that works…until it doesn’t
Let me say, I really like the Scorpion EXO helmets. I’ve had three of them so far (pics of #2 & 3 as #1 was in a crash and didn’t survive). They fit really well (my big watermelon head!) and I like the functionality of modular helmets. Time to get a new helmet, of course I go right to Scorpion. I am familiar with them. I know they fit right. But the Tariffs have driven the prices up 😕 so I have been lurking, saving up, hoping for a price drop or a sale. When this particular helmet showed up as an “Open Box” return for a significant discount I jumped. Black is NOT my favorite color (too hot riding in the sun) but the price was right. “It’s a Scorpion, they fit perfectly” was my thought. I tried it on… NOPE!!! Scorpion! What have you done? This thing presses into my forehead, cuts uncomfortably against the base of my skull, and my chin now touches the inside of the chinbar. Not Cool!!! I guess I have to hunt for a new brand. ... show more

  • Great
The Scorpion EXO-AT960 is a practical ADV helmet that focuses on solid features and usability over premium branding, making it a great value choice; it’s Bluetooth-ready with EXO-COM compatibility and built-in speaker pockets for a clean setup, while the polycarbonate shell and dual-density EPS provide reliable protection (with a bit more weight than high-end materials), and the overall quality feels good and dependable without being luxury-level; in terms of durability, it holds up well for everyday riding with a sturdy modular design, and where it really stands out is value, giving you modular convenience, versatility, and useful features at a price that’s hard to beat. ... show more
