Description

The EXO-AT960 Modular Motorcycle Helmet has evolved from one of the most popular Adventure Motorcycle helmets on the market, the EXO-AT950. Maintaining its high value (in addition to U.S. DOT Certification), ScorpionEXO has now added the latest ECE 22.06 Safety Rating, which requires a wider range of testing than the previous 22.05 certification. The EXO-AT960 can be used as a full-face ADV helmet with an external peak visor attached, or the peak visor can be removed for a more aerodynamic touring helmet. The oversized eye port is extremely wide for greater peripheral vision and downward visibility, and the modular chin bar can be conveniently flipped up. The internal drop-down Speedview sun-visor allows you to adjust to changing lighting conditions throughout the day. Additionally, the no-fog Everclear shield can be removed, and you can use the EXO- AT960 with goggles for off-road use. Three shell sizes made of Advanced Polycarbonate and dual-density EPS, result in a helmet that is light weight, strong, and protective. And for those who need to stay connected, the EXO-AT960 was specifically designed to integrate with the new EXO-COM BlueTooth Communicator Kit, while the large speaker pockets also make it compatible with many other com systems in the market. Whether you are cruising, touring, commuting, or adventure riding, the AT960 is equipped to handle any terrain!

  • Best helmet ever
Size: X-Large Color: Kryptek Typhon
I’ve been using this helmet for about riding 3000 miles and I can say it’s very comfortable, very durable, there is a bit of a fogging problem early in the mornings but other than that it’s visibility is perfect, the color is awesome and I’d say it’s worth every penny

  • Pretty good helmet
Size: Medium Color: Kryptek Wraith
Been using this helmet almost daily for about a month now. Some points to note: * Helmet was tight for a day or so but has broken in nicely. Fits very comfortably and is by far the most comfortable helmet I've ever worn. My head size is about 7 1/4 and I have an oval type head. I got a medium and it's perfect. My wife is about a 6 3/4 oval and she got the small, which is a perfect fit after break in. *It's still pretty chilly for my morning commute up at 6000 feet in the mountains and the helmet is warm. I ride city to open highway every day for about a 60 mile roundtrip commute. Has a collar around the bottom of the helmet that keeps the cold air from coming in and works really well. Was 38 for one of the morning rides and stayed warm doing 65. 80 in the afternoon and didn't feel like I was going to overheat. *Cruising at 65-70 there isn't a whole lot of noise. I don't feel like I need ear protection. *Visors are really good. Good clarity and no notable fogging so far. Started to fog on me one day but then I opened the front vent and zero fogging after that. Visor stays in place with the cracked position which gives you more air in slower traffic yet still protects you from being hit in the face by bugs and such. However I had a hitchiker honeybee that almost crawled in through the crack lol. That could have been interesting..... *Weight is good. I don't feel like the helmet is too heavy. Used to ride a full face Harley helmet. It was quite a bit heavier and much less comfortable. *The modular flip up full face portion is really good. It is easy to use and makes putting the helmet on and taking it off much easier than a traditional full face. Stays put in the fixed positions. No wonkiness at all. Overall I really like this helmet. Bought one for me and one for the wife and she likes hers too. These helmets are a bit pricey, but you really do get a lot for your money and I think to get a better helmet you would have to spend 700 or more. For us it was worth the money. Excellent helmet!!! ... show more

  • Great helmet. Comfortable fit.
This is my first 'ADV' style helmet and my first modular. I have not tried it with the visor attached yet because I'm on a sport bike at the moment. Once I get my ADV bike and I am sitting upright I'll give that a try and review it separately. All of the other modular helmets I've ever tried on gave me a headache because the cheeks were so tight. Even the ones that I could move around on my head because they were way too big. This one fits perfectly and doesn't squeeze my cheekbones at all. I really like the larger visor. You have a way better view than with my regular one, when tried on back-to-back. The only real issue is that with a larger view, you have a larger shield that doesn't fit in my shield carrier (Shield Sack) to carry the tinted one. So I'm researching options for that. Ventilation seems to be adequate. I know for sure that the front vent is definitely noticeable when open vs closed. I got caught in the rain and actually had spray getting through the vent, which has never happened before. The top vent is still being tested. Like I said - adequate, so far. The last thing that I want to say, which may not be an issue if you're a surface road guy and not an interstate guy is that when at highway speeds the 'speed view drop down sun visor' touches my nose when deployed! At surface road speeds this isn't an issue. It's close, but not touching. So far, it has been a good helmet and a worthy replacement for my old Scorpion street helmet. ... show more

  • It looks nice, that’s about it.
Size: Large Color: Hicks Orange
First impressions are great. Decent quality for a entry level helmet. Styling and finish are great. Now the nitty gritty. Speaker pockets are on the shallow side, basic Cardo speakers barely fit without to much pressure on your ears. Zero chance the JBL speakers would fit without ripping your ears off. The peak visor vibrates like crazy at highway speed, it super annoying. Wind noise is horrible, it’s actually quieter with face shield up. It has 2 active vents but they are decorative, the helmet flows zero air. The drop down sun shield is a nice touch but it doesn’t lock in place while in the down position. It will flutter at speed, and bounce if you hit any bumps. So if you want a great looking helmet to look at it’s a super purchase, just don’t wear it. ... show more

  • Great helmet!
Size: X-Large Color: Topographic White
First off, this helmet is gorgeous! Just beautiful. I usually wear Large sized helmets and ordered it in Large, but it was crushing my skull with pressure points. I exchanged it to XL and it fit perfect. Two flaws to this beauty though. The worst being that the sun visor slips down randomly. not that often, but enough times to be disappointed by the quality of the helmet, or lack thereof. The second flaw (which is to be expected in all modular helmets) is that it gets pretty noisy above 70mph. But it's not a street helmet so I can't blame it. Those flaws are bearable though. I mean there aren't many ADV helmets that hit all the right points like comfort, modular, sun visor, and of course beautiful colors/graphics/design. I truly love this helmet and wear it every day. Shipping was super fast and exchange was easy and flawless, even though I hate returning/ exchanging due to waste of resources (man power, gas, restocking, etc.) but it really was too small. So on this beautiful helmet I'd probably recommend to get a size up. Oh and it's the latest ECE approved. All in all I highly recommend this gorgeous helmet. ... show more
