Description

The EXO-AT960 Modular Motorcycle Helmet has evolved from one of the most popular Adventure Motorcycle helmets on the market, the EXO-AT950. Maintaining its high value (in addition to U.S. DOT Certification), ScorpionEXO has now added the latest ECE 22.06 Safety Rating, which requires a wider range of testing than the previous 22.05 certification. The EXO-AT960 can be used as a full-face ADV helmet with an external peak visor attached, or the peak visor can be removed for a more aerodynamic touring helmet. The oversized eye port is extremely wide for greater peripheral vision and downward visibility, and the modular chin bar can be conveniently flipped up. The internal drop-down Speedview sun-visor allows you to adjust to changing lighting conditions throughout the day. Additionally, the no-fog Everclear shield can be removed, and you can use the EXO- AT960 with goggles for off-road use. Three shell sizes made of Advanced Polycarbonate and dual-density EPS, result in a helmet that is light weight, strong, and protective. And for those who need to stay connected, the EXO-AT960 was specifically designed to integrate with the new EXO-COM BlueTooth Communicator Kit, while the large speaker pockets also make it compatible with many other com systems in the market. Whether you are cruising, touring, commuting, or adventure riding, the AT960 is equipped to handle any terrain!

  • Pretty good helmet
Size: Medium Color: Kryptek Wraith
Been using this helmet almost daily for about a month now. Some points to note: * Helmet was tight for a day or so but has broken in nicely. Fits very comfortably and is by far the most comfortable helmet I've ever worn. My head size is about 7 1/4 and I have an oval type head. I got a medium and it's perfect. My wife is about a 6 3/4 oval and she got the small, which is a perfect fit after break in. *It's still pretty chilly for my morning commute up at 6000 feet in the mountains and the helmet is warm. I ride city to open highway every day for about a 60 mile roundtrip commute. Has a collar around the bottom of the helmet that keeps the cold air from coming in and works really well. Was 38 for one of the morning rides and stayed warm doing 65. 80 in the afternoon and didn't feel like I was going to overheat. *Cruising at 65-70 there isn't a whole lot of noise. I don't feel like I need ear protection. *Visors are really good. Good clarity and no notable fogging so far. Started to fog on me one day but then I opened the front vent and zero fogging after that. Visor stays in place with the cracked position which gives you more air in slower traffic yet still protects you from being hit in the face by bugs and such. However I had a hitchiker honeybee that almost crawled in through the crack lol. That could have been interesting..... *Weight is good. I don't feel like the helmet is too heavy. Used to ride a full face Harley helmet. It was quite a bit heavier and much less comfortable. *The modular flip up full face portion is really good. It is easy to use and makes putting the helmet on and taking it off much easier than a traditional full face. Stays put in the fixed positions. No wonkiness at all. Overall I really like this helmet. Bought one for me and one for the wife and she likes hers too. These helmets are a bit pricey, but you really do get a lot for your money and I think to get a better helmet you would have to spend 700 or more. For us it was worth the money. Excellent helmet!!! ... show more

  • Great helmet!
Size: X-Large Color: Topographic White
First off, this helmet is gorgeous! Just beautiful. I usually wear Large sized helmets and ordered it in Large, but it was crushing my skull with pressure points. I exchanged it to XL and it fit perfect. Two flaws to this beauty though. The worst being that the sun visor slips down randomly. not that often, but enough times to be disappointed by the quality of the helmet, or lack thereof. The second flaw (which is to be expected in all modular helmets) is that it gets pretty noisy above 70mph. But it's not a street helmet so I can't blame it. Those flaws are bearable though. I mean there aren't many ADV helmets that hit all the right points like comfort, modular, sun visor, and of course beautiful colors/graphics/design. I truly love this helmet and wear it every day. Shipping was super fast and exchange was easy and flawless, even though I hate returning/ exchanging due to waste of resources (man power, gas, restocking, etc.) but it really was too small. So on this beautiful helmet I'd probably recommend to get a size up. Oh and it's the latest ECE approved. All in all I highly recommend this gorgeous helmet. ... show more

  • Very comfortable, sharp looking helmet! Doesn't play well with my Cardo system.
Size: Medium Color: Kryptek Wraith
I just got this helmet, was using my snowmobile helmet on my motorcycle and decided to get a dedicated helmet. This helmet provides excellent visibility, is very comfortable and is convenient with its modular design and flip up sun visor. I tried on many brands even higher end models and this was the best for fit and comfort. The sun visor control is a bit odd on the side, as I am used to it being on the top of the helmet but I will get used to it, I expect. The wraith color is very nice. I wanted a light color for summer riding and visibility. I have used it in super hot humid conditions and was comfortable. My only complaint (and the reason I dropped a star) is that I cannot easily transfer my cardo bluetooth to the helmet because it is designed to fit its proprietary bluetooth. I have looked into ways to retrofit but I don't want it to look bulky with visible cords and I don't want to drill my helmet so I probably will end up getting the proprietary exo-com system even though I have read it is inferior to the cardo slim system I have as far as sound quality and distance of connection. I do plan on purchasing the exo-com set but am not thrilled to spend the extra when I have a perfectly good bluetooth. Don't regret my helmet decision though, great helmet! ... show more

  • Excellent helmet
Size: X-Large Color: Hicks Blue
After 2.5 decades of motor sports… on/off road, 2/3/4 and wheeled, I can accurately say I’ve ridden every kind of helmet in just about any conditions you might be wearing one. For the money I don’t think I’ve ever been more satisfied than I am with this particular modular helmet. It handles wind at speeds 100+ quite well, is amply insulated against road and exhaust sound (my bike is very loud), and thus far hasn’t remotely fogged up yet. It’s a very comfortable lid to boot. I just added a cardo packtalk edge and am able to hear my music and calls just fine. I have a pretty big head and big ears/nose, to that end the XL size fits me well. Id absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a budget friendly helmet in this segment. The retractable sunshade is golden too. I use that 90% of the time when riding. It’s nice to be able to retract it when the sun goes down and have full viz. riding with the chin bar is super cool too… quite actually. Hot days on spur roads at low speeds = perfect time for that open face feel. 10/10 ... show more
