This product description is all wrong the water pump doesn't fit a 98 1.9 TDI. Also the belt I believe is wrong it is way too tight haven't taken the time to count the teeth. But it is way too tight before even setting the tensioner. The car is apart and now I have to get a new kit stay away from cheap kits like this. ... show more

    • Decent components for those on a budget. Water pump does not fit the ALH engine

We are giving this kit a try on an ALH with over 400,000 miles. Everything is I would say C grade, with the worst being the water pump which does not fit the ALH engine. Will report again after 25,000 miles or if the belt fails.
