A Classic Toy That Still Gets a Big Reaction
I bought this Schylling Silly Circus Jack in the Box because I wanted a simple classic toy, and it ended up being a lot of fun. The colorful tin box has that old fashioned toy look, and the music makes the anticipation even better as you turn the handle. Of course, the best part is waiting for the little plush character to pop out and watching the child’s reaction. The first time usually gets a jump, then a laugh, then “again!” about twenty times. 😂 I also like that it doesn’t need batteries or an app. You just turn the handle and it works, which is honestly refreshing these days. The toy feels sturdy, the design is bright and cheerful, and it makes a cute gift for younger children. Overall, simple, nostalgic, and surprisingly entertaining.

Love the colors
Super cute! I really like that it’s metal and not plastic. My 6 month old grand baby loves the colors! The latch is a little wiggly and the handle a bit small, but the clown pops up when he’s supposed to… soooo as long as it does the thing… we’ll stay happy

It works well and is easy to turn the handle
This item was purchased for my nephew who needed a "J" letter toy for show and tell. All the kids were very excited to take turns turning the handle in anticipation of seeing the "Jack clown" pop out of the box. It works well and is easy to turn the handle. The only thing that I would change is that it isn't as easy to push back down into the box. My nephew needed help at first getting the Jack clown back into the box but now he had gotten the hang of it and can do it on his own (he is three years old). The toy is as pictured (brightly colored). I would recommend this to other parents who are looking for a toy for their child to show off or just to play with at home. Its a quiet toy with a nice normal sounding doump de doo de doo doo doo doo de dump de doo... melody (just as a jack in the box should be).
