  • Perfect for My little Helper
Style: Junior Helper Broom Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
My 2 yr old loves to sweep and help with chores. So much so that I decided he needed his own broom so I could use my broom to finish up the job. This was the perfect size and value for the price. If you are in the market to equip your little helper I would definitely recommend.

  • Kid-sized Real Broom and Dustpan Set
Style: Junior Helper Broom Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
This is a real deal broom set. My 2 year old loves the regular broom and dustpan! He wants to carry it through the house and sweep up everything! Cute, but yuck! Plus my broom and pan are way too big for him. So, I did what I do best and looked on Amazon. For $10 bucks, I got a three piece set that is sized for a toddler and has never been used to clean up actual messes. The broom handle screws into the head of broom and the hand broom clips into the dust pan when not in use. The bristles are not as good as a real broom, but darn near close. My son is 36" tall (I'm 5'10". We're a tall family) and I can tell he will not outgrow it for quite a while. Now, he "cleans up" whenever he wants to or he "helps" mama with his broom when I'm sweeping the floor. I don't have to fight him for the actual broom and it's less germy. I also like how it looks like a grown broom and dustpan. Others are too cartoony and fake. My son knows the difference and would not have been receptive to others. It's just like when he was a baby I gave him play phone so he'd stop with my phone. That lasted all of 5 seconds and he immediately went after the real phone. He just knows. So if your son is like mine, you will not be disappointed. This set is essentially just a kid sized broom and dust pan. ... show more

  • Love this
Style: Junior Helper Broom Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I bought this for my son for Christmas when he turned 1, today he's 3 and we BOTH still love it and use it. One of the reasons I bought him this set in particular was the primary colors didn't make me feel like I was buying him a "girl's toy". He kept wanting to use the big broom to help Mommy clean up, one issue I had with that idea was he couldn't really control the broom and stuff was getting everywhere. This little broom, dustpan, and brush were the perfect answer to our little standoff on trying to be mister independent when Mommy had only enough patience to clean it up the first time. It was perfect for his height and it's a fully functioning set. I tend to grab his little brush and dustpan when there are little piles of messes around our home. The set is fully plastic and has withstood being thrown, stepped on, jumped on, and various other traumas that haven't managed to make it break. It's definitely a toy that has stood the test of time and a toddler. I couldn't see a reason to not love this little set. I think the only thing I would have like may have been for it to come in it's own box so I could wrap it up, but thankfully little ones aren't really picky if their presents are wrapped or not. I can see this being still in use for a few more years to come, when I have to replace it because he's too tall and hopefully still wants to help Mommy clean everything. One can wish and hope right? I received this product at a discounted rate or free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. ... show more

  • Broom works great. Dustpan is too small to be useful. Broom head arrives covered in plastic dust.
Style: Junior Helper Broom Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
My toddler loves to pretend to sweep the floor, especially when he sees daddy doing it. The broom is great for that. Overall, it gets the job done. Reasons I took off a star: (1) the dustpan is too small to match the width of the broom. It only fits the little hand broom it's attached to. So don't expect to use it with the big broom. (2) the broom bristles were *covered* in tiny yellow plastic bits. I assume it was some sort of plastic sawdust that comes from cutting the broom? Anyway, make sure you shake/brush the thing off thoroughly into the trash before you use it! Otherwise you'll get horrible plastic dust everywhere. In conclusion: the broom works great. The dustpan is too small to be useful. The broom head arrives covered in plastic dust. ... show more

This is a verpractical bloom set, complete with stand alone long handled dust pan. A great bonus of the mini dust pan and brush. My kitchen go-to for fitting ridding my counter tops of messy crumbs, spilled spices.

  • A little helper for MY little helper :)
Style: Junior Helper Broom Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
My 17-month old son loves to help sweep, mop, and vacuum. It's adorable-- until he throws a fit that I'M doing it and he can't. While most days it's easy to hand it over to him for a few, there are of course the times that I just want to get it done. Soooo, my husband and I figured that we needed to get a set of his own. We chose this and the Dirt Devil Junior Reaction Vacuum to be our son's first cleaning tools. The Dirt Devil is set to be delivered today, but the broom set came yesterday, so of course I had to let Charlie try it out immediately! Out of the box, he was completely excited and wanted to "sweep" the carpet. We went ahead and swept the kitchen floor together, and actually, it was really nice. It's made very well considering it's just a toy- the bristles are thick and well angled, like the real thing, and it did sweep up a considerable about of dirt and pet hair. It's a little tall yet for my son, but I think technically he's a little young for the age rec on this toy??? Either way, it's tons better than him trying to maneuver Mommy's full-sized broom. So the broom is great. We didn't really test out the handbroom and the dustpan, but my husband noticed that the pan was a little scratched up--- shipping's fault, I'm assuming, not the toy's. The nice part isn't that it's well made, though, you know? It's great because my son is learning life skills and is getting to participate in what we do around the house- it makes him feel included and valuable, and we actually had a lot of fun doing this together. NOW- if I can only keep him this enthusiastic about sweeping until he's a grown man....... ;) ... show more
