  • The manufacture is Innova but it is a good tire
Style: Mountain/Kevlar Color: 26 x 1.95-Inch
It is true that the tire came in a Schwinn box and on the side of the tire it has the brand Innova. Nothing is made in the US anymore, It is all made in China and rebranded. I don't care who made this tire. I am not a pro rider and don't plan on turning pro. I just want to get up and down the mountain with no issues or flats. I only ride on one trail, it is the Mount Wilson Toll road. The trail is about 19 miles round trip, very steep, rugged and is a 4400 ft climb/descent. Not many people on this trail so I don’t want to be stranded with a flat. The tire that I bought the last time was the Maxxis Ignitor for twice the price. On the Wilson Toll road, I got 375 miles out of the Maxxis with 3 or 4 flats. With the Schwinn/Innova tire was able to get 500 miles of use, with no flats, on the Wilson Toll road. The picture shows what the tire looks like now. I like to run my tire pressure at 24-26 psi. ... show more

  • Great Value. Might as well...
Style: Cruiser/Kevlar Color: 26 x 1.95-Inch
First, Sasquatch pay full price. I'm giving these 5 starts for an excellent combination of affordability and durability. I've had these for several months now and they still look quite good. Are they particularly special? I don't know. But I know I got them at a comparatively good price and they are doing the job. For those of you that are wondering if these things are so cheap they fall apart immediately or have some deformity, the answer is no. If Sasquatch helped you make a decision or if you enjoyed this review, mark him helpful. Sasquatch likes that. ... show more

  • Good value
Style: Cruiser/Kevlar Color: 26 x 1.95-Inch
Four stars until we get some real use out of them to tell about longevity. Amazon was great - shipped same day with Prime and everything was packaged nice. About the packaging - I've ordered other tires through amazon and they come shipped in a large rectangular/flat box so that the tire is not distorted. These come in a small box and the tire is tight-rolled and zip-tied and then packed into a small display box. I was concerned at first. I've attached photos showing the display box and the way the tire is zip-tied, and then how it looks after unpacking. No problems installing. Went on 26" rims relatively easily and without having to use additional tools. I replaced a pair of standard knobby mountain bike tires with these since my teenaged son rides mostly on concrete. He had taken to using my road bike instead for the lower rolling resistance and I'm hopeful that these Schwinns will have that effect on his mountain bike. These tires are a little smaller and the tread pattern is tighter. See attached pics. Overall, I really like the tires. Hopefully they hold up. ... show more

  • It fits, but something about this doesn't feel right.
Style: Cruiser/Standard Color: 26 x 2.12-Inch
This is, in fact, a 26" tire. With that said, it's decidedly thicker when the rubber contacts the ground than beach cruiser tires typically are. While this might help with traction or longevity or something (I really doubt this tire will ever rupture), it also makes peddling a bike with no gears significantly harder than a standard wheel would. It makes sense, physically speaking, that a tire with more surface area is going to generate more friction against the ground it's touching but the difference is not as small as logic would dictate; I'd say it requires at least 50% more effort to peddle my bike with these on and, while I'm glad it has great traction and all, that kinda kills the vibe. People buy beach cruisers to ride on flat land where that's not as big of a deal as it would be to a road/mountain rider. I'm going to keep the tire but I'm ordering a standard size one to get back to where the bike should be. ... show more

  • Very cheap price for a pretty decent Tire. :-)
Style: Cruiser/Kevlar Color: 26 x 1.95-Inch
As many have written on here, they are not Schwinn tires, they are Innova tires in a Schwinn box, don't know how they are being allowed to continue this false representation? However, for $17 a tire you can't beat the price. Don't think they are Kevlar lined but they are a much thicker and heavier Duty rubber lining No Doubt. I run mr. Tuffy's in all of my bike tires which are basically plastic flexible inserts that you can buy that go in between the tire and the tube that helps prevent punctures from things like small pieces of glass, thorns or other road debris. Of course nails would just go through any tire no matter what. I am only giving 4 stars because of the false advertising on the tires, however Innova have been making tires for years and years for tractors, cars, lawn mowers and bikes so they are not some fly-by-night cheap company. We shall see in the long run how long these tires last. So far I am happy with them. ... show more

  • Not the right tire
Style: Mountain/Standard Color: 24 x 1.95-Inch
Sad that someone is switching the tires in the package. I took off the zip tie and this is what I find not Schwinn but Innova cheap budget brand tires very thin and flimsy. I gave them a chance and put them on since I already opened them and cant put them back in the small box. I also do not have time to loose and not ride in another week. I work nights so sleep all day. Point is fix this stop selling something then giving us some cheap knock off. I am not the only one this has happened to if you look in the comments there is at least one other. ... show more
