I have used other arm protectors, but, in my opinion, these Schwer protectors with their velcro fasteners beat all the others for convenience, comfort, durability, and usefullness. I had to power wash 151 yards of 6’ fence. By wearing this sleeve it protected my arm from flying debris. They dry pretty quick. Ready for the next days work. I’m very pleased it saved my left arm from skin damage. Works well when wet for hours. Velcro keeps it on your arm very well.

At the young age of 70, I have issues with my arms bruising easy. The slightest scrape or bump leaves bruises that last weeks. There's nothing like wearing long sleeves in the hot summer. These cut resistant sleeves are much better than the light sleeves I've tried in the past. I purchased the small 18 inch pair, but with you made a smaller size but still an A9 protection.

I bought two pair of these arm sleeves, one for my husband and myself and we absolutely love them. We have gardens and thistles plus comfrey plants. We both are kinda allergic to the comfrey plants and the thistles, they speak for themselves. With these arm sleeves no more scratches and cuts when weeding so I recommend them to anyone who gardens. Bought these for yard work when working around bushes that poke me in my arms. They were surprisingly effective. So much so that I bought a pair for my Father in law. He loves them too. He showed them to the pest control guy and he's getting himself a pair.

I purchased these after being bit by a copperhead. I hope not to take a chance on how well these defend me against another snake bite but as far as against other items heavy brush and briars they work well. Great durability great fit help keep you cool if you wet them well worth the money.

Bought these to protect my old arms from getting bruised up working on the bottom of car seat while installing seat covers. After the first set was installed I counted about 10 bruises on my forearms after digging around in the seat springs and heater boxes and other power seat mechanics. Now that I have these protectors I got no bruises dining the second car!! Downside to these is the Velcro attachments that circle around the upper arm to keep them from sliding down The attachment is about a 1 1/2" wide prickly side velcro strip that is sewn on the outside of the protector. The softer piece is like a strap that completes going around the upper arms and sticks to the sticky part. Problem is the Velcro is about a 1/4" from the top and the fabric above the strip rolls up when worn, allowing the prickly Velcro to rub on the skin. Both sides are the same. Really irritates the skin. I've asked the wife to remove both of the sticky Velco pieces and move them down about an inch or so, so the Velco doesn't contact the upper arm skin. If I had it to do over, I would have selected a pair that weren't held up with stiff Velco. YMMV FOLLOW-UP: just received an e-mail from the sender in response to my review. Expressed they were sorry for any problems I had with the product and offered a refund. Did not ask me to change the review like the AMZ sellers, but I was glad to see the vendor reads reviews and tries to make things right. After the wife's sewing skills remanufactured the gloves, they fit great and I wouldn't want to take advantage of the seller's good will. Will not be taking them up on the offer, but would definitely do business with them again!!
