I bought these as replacement tires on my Trek Dual Sport after one of the original tires developed a bulge. After removing the old tire, I immediately noticed how much sturdier and heavier the Schwalbes were than the old tires. These were surprisingly easy to install on Bontrager AT-750 rims with no tools or zip ties needed.. It took me about 5 minutes each tire. On my first ride I definitely noticed an increase in rolling resistance, It seemed tougher to pedal than the older tires. After a few rides, I've either gotten used to it, or some of the tackiness of the new tires wore off as they seems to roll easier now. I ride mostly on crushed limestone rail trails, so I am not looking to race anyone, so these work fine. The grip is excellent on the softer spots of the trail and through mud. I've run over some sharp rocks with no issues. I look forward to giving these tires a try in some light snow in the winter. I'm sure they will manage well. The aggressive tread pattern looks really cool, but it is a magnet for pebbles. I get to take some of the trail home with me from every ride like souvenirs. But the tread should last a very long time. Also, the reflective sidewalls are a nice safety feature. Overall, a very solid tire. ... show more
