They're not skin tight but not loose at all. I did order up a half size because of the pointy toe and they’re perfect. I also like to wear a thin sock for added comfort. Highly recommend to order a half size larger. I’m usually a 6.5 but purchased a Sz 7. These boots are so classy! Love the design as most boots are so plain. They are a bit shiny, not dull. Love how chic and trendy the brown croc style is, however disappointed in how easily the tips wore after just a few wears for such expensive boots. Wish the leather was a bit stronger and more durable. Otherwise wear these a ton!

Purchased these as an alternative to the Paris Texas Anja boot. Sadly the shaft was still too narrow and the quality not up to my standard. Received in a branded box with packaging stuffed in the shoes. Unfortunately the packaging wasn’t sufficient to prevent the top of the boots from caving in—showing me the initial quality would not be long term. These boots are stunning to look at & exactly what I wanted. I loved that they had just a touch of Western style, but are extremely versatile. I typically wear a US size 8.5 in heels and ordered a 8.5; this was comfortable, but I think I could've done an 8. The footbed and ankle area felt roomy. The problem is with the shaft of the boot -- it is way too tight on the calves. The boot would get stuck around the widest part of my calf, causing the ankle to bunch and look awkward. This also made getting them off so hard. I do not have a wide calf; I measured and confirmed against sizing for Dolce Vita boots since they offer standard and wide-calf boots. My calves measure 15" around at the widest spot, well within the standard shaft width for a US size 8.5 -- definitely measure calves before ordering. Also, there is absolutely no traction on the bottom of the boots; I was slipping just walking around my house. While I think the boots look beautiful, this always makes me feel like the boots are cheap & at a retail price of $258, I think they should be higher quality. ... show more
