The curb in the pic of this shower is the Kerdi curb we bought via amazon. It was easy to trim and install. I was concerned about strength until it was all tiled. A 110lb tempered glass 78”x35” wall is mounted on top of it. Everything is beyond sturdy. This saved us considerable time in finishing our diy bathroom reno. As a pandemic hobby, I converted a bathtub into a shower. This curb was required to contain the water in the shower to the pan. Oddly, all of the local Kerdi sources in Las Vegas sold a 5’ shower pan, but had only two shorter curbs to run the 5’ length. So Amazon it was. Th 5’ curb was a way more elegant solution than the fusing of two shorter curbs and, through Amazon, was considerably cheaper. The shipping time was fast, too, though speed wasn’t necessary to my implementation. All in all, it worked for me. ... show more
