  • Stopped working at 14 months
Size: 22 in Pattern Name: Monitor
It was a great monitor. I've had it just over a year. Literally 14 months and it just randomly stopped working. Right after the warranty ran out. Not happy. Update: Sceptre emailed me and said they would replace it and they "flagged" my serial number for pre-approval. I just got an email from the Warranty team who informed me that no, they would not replace it and everything would be done on my own dime. Will never buy a Sceptre Product again. ... show more

  • Sceptre E series E275W-1920 V1 27" Monitor - Great monitor for the money!
Size: 27 in Pattern Name: Monitor
I purchased a pair of these monitors to use in a dual monitor setup, primarily for CAD. So far I am really liking them. I am running them at full resolution and am not noticing any flicker or anything negative about them at all for my application. I have not used them for video or gaming so I can't comment on how well they would work for those things. These monitors are equipped with a standard VESA mounting screw arrangement but the surface where that set of threaded hols is located is curved so a set of stand-offs is necessary to go between the monitor and your VESA mount. The necessary stand-offs are supplied with the monitors but, if you lose them, you can probably get replacements from many hardware suppliers as they appear to be pretty standard parts. One thing some folks may not like is the fact that the stands that come with this monitor do not swivle and have no height adjustment capability. The only adjustment is tilt. If you need more adjustability than just tilt, then you're going to need to invest in some sort of VESA mount that will work for you. All in all, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer monitor in this size for the money. ... show more

  • Love it!
Size: 27 in Pattern Name: Monitor
This was the actual cheapest 27" 1k 75Hz monitor I could find at the time at $115. The only complaint I would make is the speakers are not very good. Would work for casual browsing, but I don't use the sound on this monitor; I instead, plug in a receiver-controlled sound system. There is a simple thumb tab at the top of the pedestal that unlocks the entire base from the monitor, allowing wall-mounting. Picture is good, colors appear great to me, nice and bright. Playing Wrthndr, STO, Command & Conquer, and others. ... show more

  • Crisp and Clear Monitor for My Home Office - At a Low Cost
Size: 24 in Pattern Name: Monitor
I was looking for a larger monitor for my home office setup but didn't want to pay a lot for it. I was concerned that, due to the price of the monitor, it might not be that good. Well, after 3 months, it is easily the best of my home monitors (I have 2 ASUS and 1 DELL monitor). The colors are vivid and the screen is particularly crisp and clear, no dead or always on pixels (I purchased an ASUS monitor at the same time and it did have a single always on, pixel - and it cost more). ... show more

  • Perfect price, excellent quality!
Size: 24 in Pattern Name: Monitor
Never heard of this brand before, so was a little skeptical. Packaged nicely, and I needed one with HDMI/DVI ports. The base IS adjustable, and has very high quality resolution even on DVI. Buttons are on bottom and easy to access. For the price, I am very happy with the look, the quality, and the functionality! Paired with a 1050ti card and I have a decent gaming rig! Highly recommend, I'm really impressed. 24" was a nice upgrade from 19"!! ... show more

  • Excellent Product
Size: 27 in Pattern Name: Monitor
The SCEPTRE monitor is excellent. I am very pleased with the very fine clarity of the images on the screen. My new MacBook Air is very good, but the screen was simply too small for my 78-year-old eyes. The monitor from SCEPTRE solved the problem. I am very glad that I made this purchase.

  • No regrets on this monitor!
Size: 27 in Pattern Name: Monitor
Was looking at other 27" screens and decided to go with this one and I am super pleased so far. I don't game much but when I do I can see a huge difference in the graphics compared to my old monitor. Pictures and videos played seem clearer and brighter. I really appreciate the quick start up time. I can turn on the monitor and by the time I take my seat it is ready to go, my previous one I could go get a drink waiting on it to load up (even with the PC already on). ... show more

  • Great Picture! Regarding removing base mount...Turn Lemon Into Lemonade...see photos
Size: 22 in Pattern Name: Monitor
Bought this set for a guest room and am using it with an Apple TV box. Great little TV, especially for the price. Very clear picture. Sound from speakers is a bit primitive, however fine for just watching general movies, shows, etc. You get what you paid for...convenience:) Others have brought up a good point in that removing the base is kind of a pain. Since we are only using this with our Apple TV box, we decided to make lemonade out of the lemon and use the base as an attachment point for our Apple TV box! My amazing husband cut the plastic stand around the base and we siliconed the Apple TV box to the bottom of the cut base unit (see photos). This has worked amazingly well and looks fantastic. Gets the box and cables out of the way when TV is hung on the wall! I'm sure this would work with the Roku and other boxes. Heck, you could even "glue" a generic "shelf" to the base or hooks, etc. Hope this idea helps others. Again, great little tv for the price. ... show more
