This was the best buy for me as I balanced price vs features. Keep your expectations real when you turn on the speakers...plan on plugging in powered speakers that have better dynamic range and power capacity. I am using a mini pc system that is works well with this monitor. The size was a consideration as I am setting up a trading desk that will have at least two monitors and 2 separate computers. For the price it's perfect. The sound quality isn't the greatest but running a Gameboy emulator on it with those speakers made it feel like I was playing a Gameboy. The picture is great for what it is and the size is nice.

The media could not be loaded. Works well and hooks up instantly, no configuration needed. I compare it to Costco monitors when it comes to cost and I think this one is slightly less quality but way cheaper. If you need it for something like high HD gaming or something like that, you likely want to go elsewhere. I use it for work and video calls and it’s perfect. ... show more

Bought two of these to connect to my work laptop when in my "home office". These are not my first Sceptre monitors, and probably won't be the last either. They are good monitors - not perfect, but certainly good when compared to price. I only use these for office work, and for that they are perfect.

    • The monitor has the setting buttons on the back. That is annoying considering you can't rotate it.
The monitor is pretty good. It is really light and makes you wonder if you bought a piece of junk, but it totally works. It also has a really small power cable which makes you wonder if it is fake. I guess this is due to it being newer technology and they shrunk things down. It also uses a power adapter. It does not have only a black plug. The speakers are nothing spectacular, but they get the job done. It is handy to have portable speakers in the monitor in case you want to hook up a mini computer like an Odroid or Raspberry Pi. That way you can use a wired network connection for faster download speeds. I am wondering if this is smaller than 22". I was pretty sure my other monitor was 22" and it is smaller than that one. ... show more

The monitor is fine to see your work or watch a video online, but just forget about the built-in speakers. They're tinny and produce insufficient volume to adequately hear and understand the spoken word. I tried using these for a virtual meeting and missed half the information due to a lack of volume. ... show more

Ok don't get me wrong for the price i bought it at was around 99$ or so which isn't bad but to advertise it as gaming isn't fair its only 75 Hertz which Isn't good when you could get better for cheaper if you look at the right place. CONCLUSION: Get Only if you have some change to spare if no stick to a cheap dell monitor I promise its no different ... show more
