I really like this 5-gallon Scepter gas can. The SmartControl spout makes it much easier to control the flow of gasoline and helps prevent spills. I was worried the spout would be difficult to use because I do not have very strong hands, but I was pleasantly surprised. You do not need a lot of hand strength to operate it once you understand how it works. To use it, remove the cap from your equipment, place the spout or extender into the fuel opening, then press and hold the SmartControl lever/button to release the fuel. Start with light pressure so you can control the flow. When you release the control, the gasoline stops flowing, which makes filling much cleaner and easier. The spout extender is especially helpful for lawn equipment where the fuel opening can be difficult to reach. The rear handle also makes the can easier to hold and position while pouring. Overall, this is a sturdy, easy-to-use gas can with good spill control. I would recommend it, especially if you want something that does not require a lot of hand strength to operate. ... show more

I bought this fuel container to fill up my lawn mower. My old container was falling apart and it was time for an upgrade. The SmartControl spout makes it sooo much easier to control the flow, so I can fill tanks without fuel splashing everywhere. The 2-gallon size is also easy to carry and store. The container feels durable, seals well, and I haven’t had any leaks during transport or storage. It’s simple to use once you read the instructions. I use this can for my Honda EU2000i generator. Perfect size for a tank fill-up with a little extra leftover. The spout works really well. You can fully control the flow...no spills. Comes with an extra funnel if needed.

Worst gas can I've ever used. I bought this specifically because it seemed like the safety nozzle would make filling my generator easier, without spilling. This does the opposite. Not only does it leak, but the button is very hard to hold in while simultaneously lifting and angling the can. Then, when you finally get it going, the gas barely trickles out. It also has no vent hole, so you have to keep adjusting it, when it vapor locks. I can't return it, so now I have to buy an old school replacement nozzle, so that I didn't just waste $40 on this stupid can. I'm not kidding when I say that my hands feel like I went rock climbing, and I could not even hold it long enough for one gallon to dispense. 0/10. I do not recommend. ... show more
