I am a nurse who cares for children by day in a 100 year old building without "modern" ventilation. My office can become quite "stinky" due to needs of preschool and special needs kids' diaper changes in my office and restroom. I am in an office pod with 3 other people and the necessary "fragrance" of the littles easily escapes into the entire office pod. I purchased this before Christmas and have been heating wax cubes in it. It is amazing. Fast melt, does not overheat, delivers lovely fragrance. The entire pod is enchanted. So am I. It does not get super hot to touch. I keep it up out the way of little fingers, of course. I like that it is bulb heated and will be able to be fixed if bulb burns out. The ceramic pumpkin is lovely and good sized. Super easy to clean. In summary, WE LOVE IT!! I have been using Scentsy since one of our own sells them. They work just fine. I wanted a smaller wax melter for my home office so I can enjoy scents close to me while I'm working. It works perfectly for melting the waxes that I have, but the glass is surprisingly bright. When it's on, the light that comes through the glass can be quite bright. I've had to put something in front of it because the light was strong enough to strain my eyes. This likely won't be a problem if you're going to have it set away from where you're sitting/working, but in my case it wound up in my view because of my desk space setup. This is a great candle warmer for the holidays. The warmer is sturdy and the bulb produces an enchanting glow that brings instant joy. You have to be careful with the piece that holds the wax. Itโ€™s just a curved piece of glass with sharp edges, but it adds pizazz to the design of the warmer. The wax will be super fluid when hot and will easily spill out if the warmer is moved. There are no walls around the wax holder to contain the wax, so be sure to put the warmer in an area where it wonโ€™t be disturbed.
