These things are legit. I live in Hawaii where it’s super humid and warm year-round. These felt like having shorts on but with way better protection. I ate it twice in a creek bed with lava rocks, went through knee-deep mud, machete-thick jungle, the works. Not even a snag. And there’s plenty pockets for whatever I needed. Very very Large! I’m 35” waist, wear Large in everything…these must be missized, they’re at least XL. Consider a size down if you’re marginal. Can walk right out of them
