These are pretty good at straight line traction. If there is lateral slope you may find yourself drifting downhill. I use them to get unstuck from mud as well. They are heavy duty and well made. Your choice of tensioner rubber makes a big difference and how secure they are.

35x12.5x20 Test fit before my road trip. I think I’m pushing the sizing limits on these chains but once the cams were tightened I had a very snug fit

Fit as they should. I bought: QG3229CAM, My tire size is: 35x12.5x20R. RAM 2500. I'm posting this before I had a chance to actually use them. I'm just glad they fit.

Frustrating lack of details on the description. Purchased based on previous reviews. Would likely have to trim a full segment of length to fit 285/75R16 tires. Even then, chains so robust they get pinched between tire and upper control arms. Would likely saw the UCA in half if I attempted to roll lol. Anticipate needing a solid 2.5" or more clearance from upper control arms in the front & leaf springs in the back. ... show more
