I bought the extra large. If they had a 2xl, I would have bought it. But that's because I often fit tightly into extra large. I am 6-0, 240, and wear 38/32 loose-fit pants. It's going to work. But nobody will call it loose. But who ever heard of a six foot flying monkey anyway? Come to the Collinsville CT Halloween Parade and find out. The. Costume looks great! Just like in the movie. I know it's going to be a hit. The mask fits my 7 3/4 head. So that shouldn't be an issue for most people. Everything else is pretty fun. Nice quality, fits well. This is our third Halloween using the costume and it goes perfectly with my wife's witch outfit. The neighbor kids are thoroughly excited and entertained when we greet them trick-or-treating.

I wore this to a local fundraiser for cancer and it was a hit. Our table theme was Cancer is Wicked. Outfit was comfortable, although I did have to make some adjustments — I couldn’t take the claustrophobic feeling of the face mask so I cut around it and used face makeup instead; pinned the bottom of the mask under my chin, where it would fit tighter around my face; added Velcro strips to the back so it would stay shut around my hair; pinned the extra material around my feet so they wouldn’t fall off. I stuffed the inside of the hat with a dry cleaning plastic bag to keep its shape then sewed the hat on so it wouldn’t fall off. However, I didn’t realize until afterward you can use the velcro attached to the back flap on the shirt to secure the tail to your back. A bit pricy (unfortunately for me it went on sale several days after I purchased) but well worth the enjoyment it gave. I haven’t washed it yet but if any issues, I’ll edit this post. ... show more

This flying monkey costume is absolutely fantastic! While the material may not be top-notch, it's surprisingly convincing in photos. The hands and feet are impressively lifelike, a major highlight. The only downside was the mask, which was uncomfortably tight. I had to make adjustments (see photos) to make it wearable, including adding some breathing holes for comfort. I'd recommend considering an alternative to the waistband since it's just a string and lacks elasticity. The pants tend to slide down, which can be quite inconvenient. Overall it is great but you may need some help having someone Velcro up the back. My only complaint is the hat has nothing to secure it so it just falls off real easy. The pants were too small to wear for me but I was way past the recommended size and everything else still fit great. The mask is definitely tight on my big head but I got used to it and wore it for a few hours. ... show more

This is a great costume. My husband is 6’, 215 lbs with size 12 1/2 shoes and it fit well. We used safety pins to hold the little hat to the head piece. Everyone raved about how cool the is tune was and He won the Halloween costume contest by a landslide. Only two drawbacks… He had to drink through a straw and it gets very hot and sweaty with the head piece on. He took off the head piece after contest voting.
