This one is 28" long. Note that carefully if you're comparison shopping. A lot of the so-called "tenor" swabs are about 24" -- the same size you'll need for an alto. This size works fine. I do wish it was a little thicker and fluffier, but it's not bad.

Well I bought this for my daughter thinking it was to clean the INSIDE of a flute. I did not look at the product details closely enough so I bought it and it's actually to clean off the OUTSIDE of a flute!!! Now we have it and my daughter uses it but oh well. (P.S. - It seems stupid to literally include the actually cleaning swab (the stick) but not give you the cleaning CLOTH!)
