These are great, strong, smooth, and exactly what I needed for my concert flute (and you get 2 of them). The cloths are also good quality. I like to use larger cloths to swab the inside of my flute, so I will use these for my smaller instruments. That being said, when I rented my flute, the cloth they provided was half the size of the cloths I received in this kit, and these are much nicer. Plus, I have a few cloths already. I've been using dowel rods for years and didn't realize until I got this product just how hard I was making it on myself. I really like the length- perfect for my Irish wooden flute, the diameter gets to all my parts and the included cloth is very handy. Cloth is small. Not effective for my sliver flutes. I will use for my bamboo flutes and buy some soft hankies. Maybe I don’t know how to use the tiny cloths?
