LIKES: simple and clean, quick to use, thorough cleaning, inexpensive. DISLIKES: none to report. HOW USING: My wife uses this kit to keep her trumpet clean and sounding great. She finds it easy to use and she is able to do a thorough cleaning regularly. RECOMMENDATION: Yes. Great price for a simple cleaning kit. Is a must to keep instruments in good condition for playing.

Overall, this is a nice set. The brushes are solid quality, and the smaller swabs works well for saxophone necks and most all parts of a clarinet (the top joint is hit or miss, depending on the day and the angle honestly). The shape of the larger swab really helps to make sure the bore is dried out well. They have been used pretty regularly over the past few months and don't show any signs of breaking down. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 is because I find that it takes them a little longer than some other swabs I've had to dry completely.

This swab kit is just what you need to dry out the bore, bell, and neck of your saxophone. The segmented (longer) swab has a weighted cord at both ends for ease of pulling through the bell and bore. The segmented swab and be gently pulled back and forth and the overall length from end of pull cord to pull cord is about 6 feet - plenty long for a tenor sax. The smaller swab has just one cord (which is all that is needed) and can easily be pulled through the neck and mouthpiece (separately, of course!) The material and construction of the swabs is good quality and seems durable. The two brushes are a nice addition - the larger brush for more thorough scrubbing of the mouthpiece and the small brush for gently brushing delicate keys, rods, screws, etc. Altogether, a handy little selection of supplies for maintaining your sax at a fair price.

This seems like a nice quality set. It's been a long time since I've used a cleaning kit. I got this, as we wanted to revive my old sax for my son. The cloth material seems nicer than I remembered from older kits I had. The brushes seemed higher quality than the brush sets I got recently to clean our trumpets. Overall, this seems like a good solid set. Happy with this order.

I wasn't sure if this cleaning kit would work for all 3 of my saxes - Tenor, Alto and Soprano. I have purchased other cleaning kits that didn't quite measure up - they would work fine for one of them but was too small or too big for the others. This kit has nice large, soft swabs and pull cords of adequate length with a good weight at the end. I've already tried the smaller swab on my Soprano and it works perfectly and it fits my Alto and Tenor mouthpieces quite well. The large swab has long enough cords that it works great in both of the larger saxes, although I still use the smaller one in the necks. The large mouthpiece brush is stiff and easily fits in the mouthpieces of all 3 instruments. The little brush probably won't see much use on my saxes, but it will probably work well with my old clarinet. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this set - it is designed well and is of good quality. I think I may order another set to spread between the sax cases.

Good quality pass through cloth. I’ve tired several in the past which tend to leave little fuzzy bits inside of my saxophone however this one does not. It gets the job done in about one to two passes. The cloth is made of good quality material and the weighted pull line is secured well to the cloth. I keep it in my sax case at all times as it has replaced my other not so good swabs. Great all around cleaning swab.
