This bass is a great value for the money. Simple controls. Great tone straight out of the box. The action was a bit on the high side but was an easy fix. If you are a beginner and looking for a solid bass... This would be a great choice.

My husband and I bought this for my oldest nephew as his High School graduation gift. My nephew has told me that the threads are spaced out a little more then usual. The tuning knob is loose, there is a decent sized dent at the bottom and a scrape/chunk out of the paint at the bottom of the bass guitar. The packaging was less than desirable as it was taped poorly and the bass guitar itself wasn't wrapped very good. He is very happy with it so we aren't going to pursue getting it replaced. But if we had our way then it would be refunded and sent back. **Update: on 6/7/20 with further inspection and noticing several more issues/defects, we will be sending back the bass guitar for a replacement. Will update again after we get the new one. ... show more

Two tuners completely broke off. Packaging was horrible and damaged as well. Junk. Update: returned bass and had another sent to me AND this one had one broke tuner as well guess that’s an improvement. Getting my money back now. I tried. Shipping measures are horrible!!!! Live and learn.
