This is a public service for all new or inexperienced drum set purchasers. One of the complaints I see concerning drum sets is there's no stands or cymbals when they receive the set. This results in poor reviews that affect the reputation of the product. Experienced drummers know what the term "shell pack" means. This means you only get the drums themselves. no stands, cymbals, throne, sticks or any other accessories. the drums will usually require some assembly and may include tom mounts to attach to a cymbal stand (not included). Many drum sets are sold this way because a large percentage of buyers already have stands, cymbals etc. If you are new to drums or purchasing your first kit, you will usually have to buy stands, cymbals, sticks and other stuff. These are excellent drums after a bit of elbow grease, tuning, adjusting etc you will get a great sounding "shell pack". Whenever you see the words "shell pack" in a title or description you will only get the drums, nothing else. So don't ding the manufacturer. "Shell Pack = Drums Only. ... show more

These drums are great! I originally got the silver streak wrap but they arrived destroyed. When I attempted to order a replacement, the silver streak wrap was sold out so I settled with the white wrap. (both look great) This was partly the fault of UPS and partly the fault of sub par packaging. There isnt anything inside preventing damage from drops during shipping other than a layer of cardboard. Also, the resonant bass drum head is very very thin and ripped completely while I made a port hole. The drums themselves are amazing and the mounting hardware is great. The tonal range is a massive upgrade from my previous 4 piece kit. ... show more
