I purchased for home/personal use. This has been so great to have easily accessible for nail care. I'm a picker, and if my polish starts to chip or peel, I want to pick at it until I've ripped it all off, which can do serious damage to my nails. With this nail drill easily available, I have fewer excuses to not quickly sand down the gel and smooth out the chipped area which can tide me over until I have the time/energy to do my nails. My requirements when shopping were: - cordless (well, no cord that limits me to working near a power outlet) - easy twist open/close tip to swap out drill bits without pliers or incredible grip strength - attached clip to wear the unit clipped on my clothes or a wrist strap to help prevent drops - easy to wipe clean/remove nail dust - no overly childish designs or alphabet soup logos featured prominently - aesthetically pleasing I know I could have easily gotten by with a less expensive nail drill for home use, and I had a cheap corded nail drill with a USB plug that worked just fine for years. However, I started having issues that caused me to drop it a few too many times, eventually damaging the unit. This unit ticked all my boxes and is so pretty I smile every time I need to pull it out. It makes removing durable polishes a quick, painless task and saves my nails from the damage caused by peeling of gel polishes. (Please note, you can also do serious damage to your nails with these unit, especially with the metal bits. If this is your first time purchasing a nail drill, make sure you take time to learn about how to use the different bits and protect your nail beds. I'd recommend beginners stick to the sand paper looking bits until they get the hang of it, and note that the metal or ceramic bits are generally made for removing or sculpting acrylic and gel, and shouldn't be used on your natural nails.) Most nail salons near me now charge $5-8 for a "soak off" if you go in with old gel polish on, so if you get your nails done by a pro, this tool could pay for itself within a year. In my unfortunate experience, I've had severe damage done to my nails by these tools in a salon setting by various nail techs, and I get really annoyed to be charged for a soak off, and then have them come at me with these drills. After several bloody experiences (literally having to go straight home to disinfect and bandage my bleeding fingers) and years spent growing out deep gouges carved into my nail beds by supposed pros, I no longer trust anyone else near me with devices like this. I am very aware of the damage they can do when used carelessly, but trust myself to do it in a far less aggressive manor where my actual nail bed isn't being drilled through.

This drill is quiet and very easy to use. I was concerned moving from a pen style drill to one with a cord, but this drill did not disappoint. Faster, quieter, and leaves a smooth surface to work on. Makes removing gel & acrylics quick & easy. I drill off most the acrylic nails then use a gel remover to take off layers closest to my natural nail. The battery stays charged to keep speeds consistent for the whole nail set. The adjustability of the speed makes this perfect for detail work around the cuticle and whole nail remover. My favorite nail drill so far. Plus, super cute!

DONT BUY THIS!!!!! Only worked for two or three months and stopped charging. Can’t do anything with it it’s going in the trash. Battery is a cheap pos and you can’t return it. It’s also made of cheap plastic the drill part is the only thing made of metal. Wast of money.

The pause button is awesome! So handy. The drill is beautiful and runs smoothly. Seems powerful. The wand sits securely in place in the side holder. The cord is super soft and not stiff like others that bend and stay all wanky. So far, loving it!
