This is the best kit for beginners, it comes with everything you need. My only complaint/suggestion is the UV light doesn’t work too well so when you use it I suggest putting very thin layers at a time because the UV doesn’t penetrate the Gel too well.

I am an absolute beginner at acrylic. Let me tell you about my experience. So the kit came with everything I could possibly need. There was three brushes of different sizes. Three shades of acrylic one being clear. A dappin dish. Gel polish, in the form of top coat, base coat, nude, pink and white. There was a mini lamp. There was a ton of nail art supplies and tools for shaping and prepping nails. So it took me a little bit of time to get the hang of the liquid to powder ratio since I don't have any experience at all and I was having to experiment most of the time. I kept getting my beads too dry because I was afraid if they were wetter they would drip off my brush. So that ended with me having to use the brush like a plaster paddle and pushing the acrylic into position with the densest part of the brush near the base of the bristles. This was incorrect. Once I finally let my beads be wetter they were a lot easier to move and I didn't have to paint them on. I just had to guide them into place. Wetter is better. You will definitely want to make sure you're wiping your brush frequently between dips so that the acrylic does not clog up your brush. The brushes starting out are sturdy in their shape, but the more you go, the more the bristles loosen up and spread and mine started to take on a flatter shape which was great for spreading. I haven't decided if I prefer the medium size brush or the smallest brush because they were both helpful but for different things. I was able to build decent structure but filing really crisped everything up. The drill that came with the kit was tiny yet powerful. It's just a handpiece and a power cord with the controls on the cord and it doesn't have a locking mechanism. It holds the bit with tension so you just push it in there and it holds it tight. I only used my drill on about half speed but it could have gone up much higher. I definitely learned a lot through my first trial application and I know on my second try it will be better because I will be able to take the knowledge that I gained. I didn't get a chance to use most of the nail art items because there is just too many for one set of nails. This kit really is great if you don't have anything and you want to get into the acrylic game. It comes with two practice fingers and some full cover nail tips and half cover nail tips. I would recommend you practice a lot before you move on to doing it on your own fingers. The biggest issue with working on your own hand is damaging your nails and getting the product on your skin which can cause allergies. But I fully believe this kit is sufficient to get many sets of nails with many different art styles. The monomer bottle was only 4 oz which is relatively small, but it is enough to get you through at least a few sets of nails. I wasted a lot because I'm learning but I only made it through about a quarter of the bottle. And I knocked over a whole dappin dish full of it. The smell is quite strong so you will want to work with ventilation and air circulation. I would definitely recommend this kit for starting out and saviland does also have a lot of additional acrylic options as well as gel and nail art for when you're ready to expand your collection. The price is quite reasonable compared to many other kits with less products. The acrylic jars are about the size of a dip powder jar, but that is still plenty. You don't really use a whole lot of powder per nail set and since you're just starting out, you don't need a giant container. This kit also includes a lot of staple items for doing nails so you won't have to buy those separately. This kid also goes on sale quite frequently, so while it is a great price at full price, you may be able to get it at a discount as well. This was a GREAT buy! I have nothing bad to say about this product. I just never can find the time lol! But I'd buy this if you're trying to start doing nails and practicing. Or if you just Wana do them or even for home pros. It's worth the money!

I got this kit because I already had a drill and a few other tools, and I’ve been wanting to learn acrylics for years! I’m really pleased with the kit overall. My first attempt wasn't too bad—just a bit bulky—so I definitely need to work on my bead control. The only real issue is with the UV lamp. I used it with the Beetles gel polishes I ordered alongside the kit, and it took over 10 minutes to cure. Even after that, the polish still smudged when I gently tapped it. I thought maybe I had applied too much gel, so I tested one thin layer of each polish from the set on nail tips. Unfortunately, most still took a long time to dry—over 10 minutes—and some never fully cured. So, while the rest of the kit is great for beginners like me, the UV lamp doesn’t seem strong enough, which is disappointing. I’m not the most patient person, especially when I’m just practicing, so I might need to upgrade the lamp soon.

I'm not giving this product ANY STARS!! It is terrible! My issue is with the powder and liquid.. I have been doing my nails for over 20 years.. I would always go and get my nails done professionally first and then I would maintain them by doing the fill myself.. I have always done the classic French manicure, pink and white.. I always paid more to do this.. I never used nail polish for this because that chips.. Pink and White acrylic does not and I could do anything with this canvas.. Well I had my original, professional set for two months before I decided to do my fill.. I have never had such an issue with the liquid to powder ratio.. It was awful.. The brush provided held too much liquid for this powder.. It ran down my nails.. I'd use less liquid and it was way too dry.. The white powder did not match and the pink powder was even worse!! I have never encountered this issue!! EVER!! I ended up spending over 8 hours trying to salvage my original nail set.. I ended up having to cut my nails off and then filing the rest off.. Which I still haven't accomplished after a week of doing so.. This product is terrible, the powder and acrylic liquid.. Everything else is fine.. Unfortunately, the powder and acrylic liquid are your main items.. I guess for someone that doesn't know how these products should work is okay, but for someone that is maintaining their nails, this product is awful.. My own nails have never suffered so much from the abuse of this product.. 😞 I'm showing my nails at two months, needing a fill and I'm showing my index finger with the color the I ended up with.. Not even close.. 😞 This is making me give a star! Ugh! It doesn't deserve one!
